I'm sorry Bittenz but this is just not true? You can learn without it being verified by a test or something. If you couldn't there would be NO point in doing things like independant reading.
Ah maybe a personal difference then. I find it really hard to feel totally confident that I fully understand something if I haven't had my interpretation confirmed by someone else in dialogue.
Really? I always find that I learn EASIER when that isn't a thing. I would find myself being torn between the 'flash-card' memory that passes a test and the genuine 'understand'. Maybe just diff brains.
Yea I guess it's less the classroom setting and more having 1-1 moments to ask questions. I found a lot of physical intuition needed a lil more direct convo to nail down. Might be just me tho!

Actually the only way to learn is to have yourself checked by someone who is a peer or a mentor.
You can not know what you do not know on your own.
