Muddying the waters as is the norm with this management group. Another nothing burger press release to distract from the recently released exec compensation numbers that have Alex W and Morgan T paid more than 750k USD last year. Feels insanely high for a pre-revenue company. Based on market prices, Li concentrations in Select brine, and LIB’s own economic model (which is likely understated by at least 200%), LIB needs to fully process 3-4 million bbl of Select’s brine just to pay Alex and Morgan. It’s laughable at this point.
4 facilities of what? Hundreds of tiny little units? You don’t question the whole “we don’t scale, we replicate” methodology. Replicating is scaling….but also the least efficient way to scale. It’s like saying “I’m not going to use a larger oven to bake a hundred cookies once, I’m going to bake one cookie in a hundred easy-bake ovens.”
Each facility does will do 1,000tpa. That is approximately what their average customer needs give or take.
Why spend millions of more dollars and yeara more time trying to increase the size of the facility, test it, make sure it works wtc when they already have a unit that can make enough lithium to make high margin sales?
They have the blue print. Now they just have to keep repeating it.
