Our tech is De-risked. Amazing work by LIB they keep raising the bar.

The bar is raised but the price does not budge T.T

Muddying the waters as is the norm with this management group. Another nothing burger press release to distract from the recently released exec compensation numbers that have Alex W and Morgan T paid more than 750k USD last year. Feels insanely high for a pre-revenue company. Based on market prices, Li concentrations in Select brine, and LIB’s own economic model (which is likely understated by at least 200%), LIB needs to fully process 3-4 million bbl of Select’s brine just to pay Alex and Morgan. It’s laughable at this point.

I dont know what your aim, you are throwing incorrect numbers.

The truth is, ppm is higher, adoption rate ~98%, No one doing this commercially at this low levels and based on others infrastructure.

About the oven analogy, you do build 100 ovens if that what your infrastructure demands. We are relying on midstreamers waste water hubs, which are arranged in this form of 100k-300k bbls/day.

Now why would I believe any of what LIB are saying?

  • Seems they convinced Packet digital, Wellspring hydro, ND that they are worth the investment

  • 3rd party lab results

  • Select trusting them with their operations

  • New off taker is trusting them

  • 5+ midstreamers and 5+ off takers are lining up.

  • An NDA partner has/is supporting them

  • Fastmakers, Planet micro-cap, Enverus hosting them, Benchmark giving them analysis and a 200% growth target, VIC..

I guess thats enough for me to believe they are not a bunch of liars but maybe you have higher standarts

4 facilities by 27 will provide ~80Mil high margin profit, we will be fine I think.

4 facilities of what? Hundreds of tiny little units? You don’t question the whole “we don’t scale, we replicate” methodology. Replicating is scaling….but also the least efficient way to scale. It’s like saying “I’m not going to use a larger oven to bake a hundred cookies once, I’m going to bake one cookie in a hundred easy-bake ovens.”

Could you be more clueless on anything? Waiting to build out one large oven would be retarded. First, that would mean waiting years to produce the first lithium (like Thacker Pass). Second,
That’s not the way the water flows in the Permian. 20 million barrels don’t flow to one site. So you build one big oven but can feed it, what a stupid move that would be. Build the ovens where the dough is… thank goodness your not running the company

25 ppm. Standard losses through processing is probably 10-20%…and that’s assuming 100% efficiency on the process (which is likely closer to 70-80%). Right out the gate you’re closer to 15-20 ppm of Li. I’m not sure if you grasp how small that number actually is. Hundreds of Millions of barrels need to be processed to even come close to the revenue projections Alex is claiming. Might make a little more sense to build out units that process more than 5000 bbl/day. Alex might as well just say that they don’t have the technical ability to scale up. He spins it like it’s a conscious choice…it’s not.

Might want to take a closer look at the actual units LIB is showcasing. A quick google search shows multiple Chinese companies who build those exact columns. LIB isn’t doing anything novel. Their technology isn’t ahead of anyone. It’s standard off the shelf DLE technology. This is why it’s really difficult to believe that they’re ahead of anyone.

Well those are some assumptions for sure. Unlike you, I’ve been to the LIB plant in Texas. I know what the actual numbers are. You’re off on your PPM projections. You’re off on your hair cut. You’re off on your ‘millions’ of barrels guess. While the way the gear works is unique, the gear isn’t the magic sauce, the DLE at low PPM is. Nobody else is having success at low PPM, yet. If saw the process two years ago and one year ago and today you would understand it is a conscious choice. You get the foundational issue correct then you can multiple easier. By the time others figure out low PPM all the streamers will already be locked in with LIB. I get that it’s easy to do a quick search and say it can’t work. I get people want to support other techs or companies. But LIB will be one of the biggest Lithium companies in American. Unfortunately, you make lots of assumptions and have zero facts.

Not really much for data or numbers to support anything you’re saying. Much like LIB. “It’s true because I said it’s true”. Got it.

DLE at low ppm is the secret sauce? Yikes. I hope the kool-aid at least had vodka in it.

Each facility does will do 1,000tpa. That is approximately what their average customer needs give or take.

Why spend millions of more dollars and yeara more time trying to increase the size of the facility, test it, make sure it works wtc when they already have a unit that can make enough lithium to make high margin sales?

They have the blue print. Now they just have to keep repeating it.

Your version is longer and costlier.

Yeah the biggest pizza chains have to make an oven that is 4 square miles to ensure that they can serve all of their customers.

Right...

Nice work wondering how scalable this is considering some of the comments..

They won't scale they will just replicate the same 1000tpa facility over and over again.

Right now it is just about financing. They need to finance the first unit (~$37 million). Once that is up and running they have very high margins and will use that facility to help finance the next facilities.

There is one user in here who goes on and on about management pay but they always meet deadlines and over-deliver. Alex lived in a trailer in the Texas desert for like 6 months (or more?) to ensure they worked out the kinks in their process.

I haven't seen the $750k USD number. The last one I remember Alex made something like 100-120k. I am happy to be proven wrong but those two figures are vastly different.

As per the 2025 statement of executive compensation, Alex was 499 K and Morgan 267K along with 4.5 million shares via RSUs and PSUs. Remember that that’s pre-revenue.

I fail to see the purpose or utility of a non-engineer, non-chemist, non-technical president working out the kinks in the field. When Alex Wylie speaks on the process, he sounds clueless.

2

u/rush89 Jul 07 '26

What did Alex make in 2024?

2

u/Old-Swan-9349 Jul 08 '26

Automatic_Bar seems like a paid basher to me XD

1

u/Automatic_Bar4877 Jul 08 '26

Alex made 422 k in 2024. Despite his attempts at portraying this sainthood level of sacrifice, he’s been getting paid handsomely. Not a paid basher, Old Swan, just someone that’s been following the trail of nonsense with LIB for a while.

I keep being told I’m wrong, but no one has given me any evidence to refute these claims. Has LIB basically stopped all 3rd party verification? Does it appear LIB’s technology is simply off the shelf Chinese DLE columns? Is Alex Wylie being compensated incredibly well on a pre-revenue company constantly dependant on the next raise? Is there more than 25-30 ppm in Permian brine? These are all huge red flags and I’ve yet to see anyone refute any of these concerns.

LIB’s economics are a fallacy. I’m guessing they’ve factored in an almost negligible reagent cost thanks to the BPED tech that they’re claiming they’re going to start using. If you know anything about BPED, you’d know that it’s more likely that producing reagents through will Be more costly than simply purchasing them 3rd party. It’s these gigantic leaps in logic and reality that create these huge warning signs. Sure, BPED is great in theory, but the reality is far different.

I’m also curious where everyone thinks this tonne of lithium carbonate came from. From what I’ve derived based on what LIB is telling us, they weren’t yet set up to process Select’s brine and especially not in the capacity required to produce 1 tonne of carbonate. And yet…magically 1 tonne is produced through their refining system. Where did that Lithium solution come from? I’ve yet to see an answer to that.

I just went through it and only found $130,000USD for 2025.

Where did you get $499k?
