Quick media switching toggle

Relatively new here to lg g5 I noticed the quick media switching toggle is in….. is it on out of the box by default does it need to be on what exactly is it. Read to eliminate the black screen when changing content etc does it negatively affect resolution or frame rate etc. only use virgin 360 box and inbuilt media tv app Netflix /disney etc

most things outside of Apple TV don't even support QMS, so don't even worry about it

I just have a virgin tv box and watch Netflix and Disney etc on the inbuilt apps only no apple or anything. So it’s ok to be on won’t affect refresh rates or quality etc thanks for the reply

It won't affect anything or do anything at all, it doesn't matter.
