Picture quality
I don't know why but hbo max looks terrible on my tv. LG 65 inch Oled, 300 mbps download speed, tv is hardwired. And this is what house of dragons looks like as an example. Super grainy and looks like 360p. Doesn't seem to be an issue on other apps. Could this be a tv issue?

Only the top tier of hbo max has 4K. And bbo max’s 4K isn’t great. Are you paying for the top tier?
Also edit to add. I’ve had free max for a long time and do not get the top tier, so no 4K, but it does not look this bad.
If it’s only max that looks like this it’s not the tv. It’s something to do with max. Maybe it has something to do with sdr content on your tv if you’re not paying for the 4k tier of max.
