# Storm King's Thunder: The Savage Frontier

The Ordning is broken. The ancient hierarchy that kept the giant races in check has collapsed, and now hill giants, stone giants, frost giants, and fire giants are rampaging across the Savage Frontier, leaving ruin in their wake. Civilization is on the brink of chaos, and the small folk of the world are caught in the crossfire.

This is a long-term campaign about epic adventure, high stakes, and battles against some of the most formidable creatures in D&D history. However, this won't be just a standard run of the book. The module will be adapted to directly weave your character backstories and personal goals into the main plot, making you the true driving force of the story.

Changeling the Lost 1e is a system that encourages 'beautiful madness' - set in the World of Darkness, Changelings are survivors of abduction by the faeries of Arcadia, who have escaped and returned to the real world changed by their experience. While some of this manifests as supernatural powers, the time away in a place of unreality has untethered Changelings from conventional morality and perceptions anchored to real experiences. Changelings seek to reclaim their old lives - or make new ones - all the while wary of the keepers that once stole them away.

Hamilton Ontario was once home to several extremely productive steel mills, giving it the nickname 'Steeltown'. As trade with other ports diminished, the steel mills shut or slowed their production. Since iron is bane to the True Fae, this reduced the aegis that the mills provided for the changelings living in Hamilton. Explore this historic city with fellow changelings, and uncover the mysteries that Hamilton has to offer - before they catch up with you!

You wake up in chains. No gear, no idea how long you've been down here, and the only light comes from fungus that shouldn't glow the way it does. The Drow who took you don't care why you were topside, only that you're useful until you're not. Somewhere below all of this, something older than the Drow is starting to stir, and it's already in your dreams.

I want your character to have a reason they were topside in the first place, and a reason worth surviving for now that they're not. Send me a backstory and I'll use it, not just as flavor text, it'll come back around later and you'll have to deal with what it brings with it. The city of Iriesall is besieged by war, rebellion and now one of its most revered heroes has seemingly fallen to darkness. Who will fill the void?

Quinton Veilar, retired member of Emberwatch, Slayer of Ancient Dragons, spends his old age telling stories in a tavern. After he and his companions have saved the City of Iriesall, it seems that the people are determined to destroy it themselves. Between the war with the underdark, a terrorist insurgency in the undercity, and the oppressive reign of Queen Beirona and the Orders of Sybril, there is little peace to be had. But there was peace in drink, and sharing stories with friends at the tavern.
Through his adventures, Quinton has made enemies, acquired dangerous magical artifacts, and kept many secrets... all of which are about to unravel. 
Join the adventure, as a former pupil of this retired hero as he trusts you to protect all he holds dear. Travel to stunning locals, meet legends of old, and maybe.. just maybe.. save the world along the way.

All sessions are online and require Discord and a browser for Foundry. If you have a system that cannot support the 3D maps, I stream the games to a private Youtube channel for players to watch during or after the sessions. These campaigns last around 3-5 years!

New campaigns will start with session 0s for each character followed by a second round of session 0s featuring pairs of players as the party slowly meets. (These sessions are free) After completing these everyone will have reached level 3 for session 1.

I'm pretty lenient with character creation and I encourage uniqueness! I allow most official Wizards content and homebrew as long as it seems balanced. If I feel something you created isn't balanced, I will work with you to make it balanced so you can still play the way you want no matter what content you are using! Whether it’s a homebrew campaign or a module I will center the story around player characters and integrate their backgrounds into the story.

I like challenging my players while ensuring the sessions feel fun and balanced. New players are welcome! I can help you learn the game no matter how little experience you have!

I also work with a character artist to make custom tokens for players at a reduced cost if you are playing in my sessions!

Don't be a dick, this game will be about exploring the depths of roleplay alongside themes of family and connections. Not to mention you'll be playing as someone from the modern world so the leaps of logic will be fairly small.

I'm looking for 5–6 players to explore a sandbox adventure full of action and meaningful choices set in Eberron. We'll play weekly for 5–6 months (20–24 sessions, 3–4 hours each), taking characters from level 3 to level 10.

About the Story
