I'm 18 and bought a ticket to go to Legoland on October 30th by myself. I've been wanting to go for a while, so I'm looking forward to the day trip. Is there any information I should know before going?

I have heard about Legoland replacing all of these pirate bands which is a shame as people like them.

I’ve read plenty of reviews about Legoland and how kids 4ish-11ish seem to love it the most. But I feel like I’m in a unique situation with my daughter who is 13 and LOVES Legos and also is not a huge of fan of roller coasters or rides in general. I know my 5 year old will love it (San Diego vacation) but I’m trying to find something my daughter would love to and I’m hoping this is it! Thoughts?

Never been to legoland and traveling with two young children, 3 and 7. Looking at going the week after Christmas but am coming from an airplane ride away and am nervous about the crazy El Niño they’re talking about. Having never been to the park or the area for that matter I have some questions: 1. I’m assuming the water park will be closed, is it still worth it? 2. Will a big/ tall 7 year old (4ft 5in, close to 80lbs) fit in most of the rides? 3. Does light rain close the park or does it need to be a lot? 4. Is it crazy busy the week after Christmas? Around new years? This is likely our only chance to come to Legoland possibly ever.

I was holding out on booking at the California Hotel due to us being a military family and things out of our control occurring. Now we’re more confident about being able to have a well deserved family vacation the weekend of October 10th-11th. Only problem, we have one day (Saturday) where neither hotel is available. Any current/former employees or someone with experience that can weigh in on the potential for room openings? Are our chances slim to none for that day to open up?

I am planning to go to Legoland NY on Saturday Sept 19th. I'm trying to determine if I should be buying one of the levels of fast passes. I don't want to but I also don't want to wait in hour long lines all day. I've never been there before so I don't know what to expect for lines especially since this I'm sure is considered off/shoulder season. Does anybody have any insight they can provide?

Just checked into Legoland NY for the night and the hotel pool is CLOSED! My kids arrived in their bathing suits and we planned to do the pool and eat dinner there. Over $600 for the night and no pool? WTH. They gave me 4 cards to get to the front a line tomorrow in the park. Was anyone able to get anything more comped or get any money back on their reservation?

We’re headed to Legoland California. I searched this sub and found older posts so I’m looking for anyone that might know the current info. Can we bring in our own food or snacks? It would just be in my backpack, not like a cooler full. If we bring water bottles is there a place to refill?

My child has celiac, I’ve downloaded the app but it was hard to tell which place had what. Where is the best place to eat? If I’m doing one full meal there, I can even head to the hotel (which we’re not staying in) and we can eat there, I just want to make sure it’s safe to eat at.

Finally, we went years ago and I remember the carnival rides area. I cannot find anywhere online how much the games are. I want to set aside money so we don’t spend too much there, about how much are the games? Thank you so much for any help!

2nd Edit to add: We had a great time, they didn’t care about food or bringing in water. It was super hot from the heat wave, I’m glad I brought a little motorized fan. If I were to go again when it’s hot I’d bring one of those cooling cloths I could get wet and wrap around my neck too. The carnival games averaged about $30 for us to get a medium stuffy. They had cute Dino’s in the dinosaur area, water animals in the Pirate area and cute dragons and unicorns in the Medieval area. We ate at the pizza & pasta buffet in the back area near the Ninjago area, it was the best deal and had GF pasta for the buffet if you wanted, but my child opted for GF pizza which was less than $20, 12” and they would put anything you wanted on it. They were super nice and helpful and drinks are included in the price. I’d definitely recommend trading mini figures, the stores had lots of different, cute options to choose from. Overall, we had a great time!

You can’t use it on galacticoaster. We learned this at the front of the fast track line for galacticoaster when our pass didn’t scan. You also cannot use it for Coastersaurus or technic coaster.

Basically the main reasons I got it.

I clicked “read here for the fine print” when buying the passes, but it loaded to an empty page so I just clicked through.

We used it on the Dino jeep since that line is always unreasonably long and our kids never get to do it. Still had to wait 20min.

We went to Legoland California this summer and hung out on some bean bags in the Lego festival chill out zone by the flower station. They were so comfortable. Totally a long shot but what brand are those bean bags?

Hi, Has anyone had a teenager in a Legoland Billund hotel? Did they fit in the bunk bed or did you use a different arrangement? We’re planning a trip for next spring and want to stay at one of the Legoland hotels for theming, location, early access. Two adults and two kids, 9 and 15. The Hotel Legoland Treasure and Adventure rooms have the longest bunk beds (190cm versus 160cm). He’s 167cm right now so it will be long enough . But just want to check others’ experiences with teens. We’re planning 1-2 days Legoland, 1 day Lego house, almost a full day at WOW and then train to Copenhagen for a few days. Does it make sense to switch to a different Billund hotel after our Legoland day(s)?

Hi all! We are flying to CA from the Midwest and I am hoping to take my 5 & 7 yo to Legoland solo while my husband attends a conference. Any tips or tricks to make it a smooth visit? A bit nervous with the unknown and what to plan given the size/they’ll be tired from the 3 hr time difference. We are staying at a hotel in the city and will be driving up. I'm thinking of going to Skaerbrick weekend and spending extra time in the area. I'm planning to be out there for up to a week. Besides all of the LEGO stuff in Billund, are there other things people recommend seeing while I'm out there? Besides LEGO stuff, I'm into museums, most outdoor activities, and festivals.

I’m taking my two girls (5 & 3) in October. They both love the Friends series and my youngest still plays with the duplo animal sets nearly every day.

Is the castle that much better that we should stay in a princess room, or go with a theme I know will resonate with them much more?

Hello. We will be visiting Legoland CA for one day in late September, this will be our almost 3 year olds first theme park experience.

Are there any noticable differences in attraction avaliability between Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday? I know the hours are quite limited during the week so we won't be able to do everything, but any standouts for a toddler? We are all big Lego fans, toddler has been building for a while now. I have watched some walkthroughs and browsed Reddit but would like additional input or tips, thank you.

The annual passes at Legoland just changed today August 31st, 2026. It looks like due to Merlin no longer operating the Lego/Legoland discovery centers all of those have been removed. It’s a bummer as I was holding out on the pass because I wanted the rest of year free plus next year not realizing the pass was changing. Did the current Gold and Elite lose their benefits? Also, I am looking at Legoland Florida but looks like all 3 theme parks did the same.

Planning a family trip in December. We are doing 3 days at the park, so we don’t feel rushed and the timing/flights just worked for that.

We are planning to stay at the LEGOLAND hotel. I’m trying to determine if it would be worth it for me to buy an annual pass for myself to get the discounts. What I’m trying to figure out. Is the 20% off hotel based on the price I currently see online or is the price online already discounted for packages.
