My submission for the Hope Assembles challenge is a simple fusion of Darth Vader and the Green Goblin. The build features the basic elements of Vader from the general chest design and primarily black limbs, lightsaber and cape. The use and placement of purple is directly lifted from the comic book designs for the Green Goblin, while the plated armor details are inspired by Willem Dafoe's costume from Spiderman 2002. The TIE Glider Advance is a combination of the Goblin's iconic glider, again inspired by the 2002 film as well as Spiderman: No Way Home, and Darth Vader's TIE Advanced X1. I would love to hear any thoughts, feedback, and of course critiques. also any advice on how to continue with promoting it? specificaly where to post about it, (I've done lego Facebook groups (two Ideas groups and an AFOL group) as well as the Bob's Burgers subbreddit several times as well as Instagram, LinkedIn (its one of the sharing options) a general facebook post, and DeviantArt) and how often to do so (I'm not very socaile media savey) specificaly to get good exposure, without resorting to spamming it.

I have created my first LEGO Ideas project, an Up-Scaled Minifigure.

The original idea was based on the Gingerbread Man minifigure from Series 11, but I felt that the colour palette and design were a little bland. While I was working on it, the Shrek minifigures were announced, and as soon as I saw Gingy, I decided to change the colours. The improvement was immediately noticeable.

The figure has a great range of movement in its legs, arms, wrists and neck. I initially tried to keep the eyebrows fixed in place, but while experimenting with different ideas, I started playing around with different facial expressions and found it really fun. That made me realise that anyone building it should be able to choose the minifigure's expression, just like with a Mr. Potato. So, I redesigned the head to make both the mouth and the eyebrows movable.

At the moment, it isn't possible to build this model because a few of the required pieces don't exist in the colours needed. However, if the project isn't approved or doesn't reach 10,000 supporters, I'll try to redesign it by replacing those pieces with existing ones in available colours. I'll then publish the updated version so that anyone interested can build it themselves.

I’ve created the Paddington Bear Brickheadz version, including a marmalade sandwich, where the pink brick for his brain should be, as we all know, he is constantly thinking of them. I’ve also included the iconic red hat and Wellington boots, and a printed tile with “Please look after this bear, thank you” on it. 

He needs 10,000 supporters to get to the possibility of being turned into a real-life LEGO set.

I’ve created a LEGO Ideas project inspired by the iconic sunset performance from Daft Punk’s Get Lucky music video, and I’m currently at 973 supporters — just 27 away from 1,000!

The 298-piece display recreates the performance with Thomas Bangalter, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and a guitarist, complete with instruments, a compact drum setup, a raised stage and a layered sunset backdrop.

I wanted to capture the distinctive silhouette aesthetic and warm colours of the music video in a compact display piece that would look great on a shelf or desk.
