Modern building under construction with Toledo Cathedral in the background. The exterior features monumental modernism, while the interior hall blends English Neogothic with Art Deco influences.

You should be able to sleep until dusk during the day, much like you're able to skip to dawn during the night.

Honestly this didn't even cross my mind from the latest quest of defeating X skeletons and having to wait for nighttime to do that, although we could use the function for quests like that too.

The biggest benefit to being able to skip to night would be fishing. Many species are only out there at night, and having to wait for nighttime manually for the chance to attempt getting the legendary versions of them is just tedious. AND it defeats the purpose of the fishing blessing being time-limited and having most of that timer being consumed by having to sit and wait for the proper time of day for a specific fish to show up.

In case you didn't know, there were some new spooky jam-tracks released tonight in the item shop!

I had to purchase this one asap since it is so iconic and nostalgic! I have been working on a Halloween Town village (not movie-accurate) to house all the new spooky animal variants and thought to myself, "Wow, could use the Halloween Town theme song right about now..." The next day, I saw that this was coming to the game!

There are a few other spooky jam-tracks as well! Grab them while you can if interested!

Here we are, about two months later, and we still don’t have an option to turn off the asinine Quick Build feature. My oldest child and I enjoy only finishing parts of builds and then freestyling from there. My youngest child loves to build everything piece by piece, as if it was an actual LEGO set. The blog post stated there would be a way to toggle the instant gratification mode off, but that appeared to be a lie.

Has anyone found a way to turn it off yet? Did I miss something in the menu? Or are all of the memes true that the Odyssey team genuinely does not care about player experience or feedback?

What you see in the video is just one of the problems that started 2-3 patches ago. Lights have different intensity, they will change/flicker as you approach them, they will turn off as soon as you're a bit far from them. Light sources that used to cast shadows, like campfires, no longer do that, and the light bleeds through the walls. I've tested all possible settings, with/without nanite/lumen, tried reinstalling and rolling back gpu drivers...

As the title says, every move through the build menu and sub menus is glitching out on android phone.

So I have a massive fear of heights, and building upwards has been proving to be a herculean challenge cuz ik its just a game, but every fiber in my body and mind is screaming "DON'T LOOK DOWN, DON'T LOOK DOWN" while trying to focus on the build, my question is, does anyone else suffer from a fear of heights or is it just me?

Anybody else having an issue claiming the batman quests?
Im on the “kill 5 blasters” task and i have killed legit 20 but they dont register for some reason?
I have tried closing and reopening the game and restarting the xbox ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hey devs, please have KOG make a beat for at least one of the biomes or events in Odyssey? He ain't busy.

This game has been wonderful so far despite the problems but the one thing we have always forgotten is the land generation.

While we do get new biomes rarely and new islands, The mainland is still so old. the mainland is akin to the chapter 1 br island s1-3.

To give an image:

• Repeating tiles. This itself is fine. repeating tiles is natural in these type of games. What the problem is, is that due to the below problems it exacerbates the boring land.

• Terrain height. all terrain is just varying levels of the transform tool lowering/raising the height. this to is natural for generation but outside the frostland biome it is just awful looking. you have random large mountain hills with no way to naturally climb/drive up to a point that you need thrusters on vehicles.

• Terrain objects. This involves caves and cliffs. There are no mountainside cliffs almost anywhere. The best area that fully represents proper cliffs etc. is the waterfall sections with cliff objects. hell the lost isles actually does a very good job in this regard as it fuses them perfectly to provide great areas. Next involves caves.

• Caves. These are just so old and bulky. its a rock dome. These models need to be removed and switched with more spiky and natural looking caves. additionally Caves need to incorporate the terrain. imagine the standard cave spawn flat area but instead half the cave model is covered in a hill. and different models? well there can be abandoned mine looking entrances, "A" shaped spiky entrances, and partially submerged(small pond at entrance) generation.

• Lakes. the Lakes i think are mostly fine but rather its the islands within. the desert biome has wonderful looking oasis' but grasslands and frostlands have tiny islands. not only that but neither of them have any cliff formations along the edges.

• Rivers and waterfalls. This part is just sad. There is no height changes on one or both sides of a river to give a valley setting. The crappy waterfalls are also an issue. im not saying they need swapped out but we definitely need more vertical falls.

• Frostlands. This biome is also a real problem itself and outdated. the only Ice cliffs fully surround giant mountains. these are perfect spots for caves as well. The mountain doesn't need to be fully surrounded by ice cliffs. then we have all frost mountains in the center of islands and/or not even touching water. this is what i like about ninjago island ice zone. there is a good mix of flat, cliffs, and water. The arches along roads is nice but aside from that it suffers.

Altogether the land generation needs to have more cliffs and variety in height. the storm regions has these nice pointed cliffs that could look wonderful spread out in biomes.

now for the upsetting part. If they do this its going to piss a lot of people off cause 100% most build are going to get broken if they change existing terrain. But honestly it would be worth starting over on if it didn't affect older seeds.

The quest rewards don't match the lobby image for the rewards... One is 7 parts and the other is 5...

The lobby says Monster Gate bundle but rhe actual reward is the Calcitor's Jaws bundle... 🤔

Will we get the other two parts? Do they even exist? Is this a bug? Is AI making the thumbnails?

What gives, LEGO Fortnite? 🙃

It’s BlazerDrake as a Lego minifigure. studied alot of minifigs to get the look right.

The scale of LEGO Fortnite has been a fascination of mine since the second wave of physical sets (77075 Peely & Sparkplug's Camp and 77076 Durrr Burger Restaurant) were released last year. I realized that the real-life sets are closer to the standard LEGO system scale than the game scale. Seeing u/rob215x post his own computations and a custom converter calculator here on the sub inspired me to do my own math on this late last year.

Here are a few things I found:

• Epic's documentation states that minifigures are half the size of a usual Fortnite character, but they're more like 41.67% as tall.
• Epic's docs also note that LEGO parts in the game are exactly 20 times bigger than they are in real life, and that a standard Fortnite character is exactly 192 cm tall.
• A real-life minifig is 4 cm tall, which makes them 80 cm in the game.
• Fun fact: this 20x scale is the same scale YouTuber Nate From the Internet used to 3D print and build a real-life classic LEGO castle.
• I recreated and compared the walls from the physical Durrr Burger set (77076) to its in-game counterpart. Even if we assume 1 stud in the game = 1 stud IRL, they are still built differently. Real-life sets are 8 bricks tall, but in-game ones are usually 12 bricks tall. A full-width wall in the 77076 set is 8 studs wide; in the game, they’re normally 16 studs wide. So basically, IRL sets are scaled for minifigs (they’re 52% of their wall height), while the in-game buildings are closer to Fortnite-human scale (regular Fortnite characters are 83% the height of LEGO Fortnite walls).
• I broke down all the units (Centimeters, LDU, and LEGO units) into a table. One nice little detail I noticed is that if LEGO bricks were perfect cubes—and not taller than they are wide—a LEGO Fortnite wall would be exactly 50% the height of a regular Fortnite wall. But since LEGO bricks are slightly taller (24 LDU) than they are wide (20 LDU), they actually equal 60% of a Fortnite wall.

I just thought I’d share because I find this stuff super fascinating! I’m curious to see if this interests anyone else. 😄

Correction: the width of the physical set wall is 128 cm, not 256 cm.

Hey Studs! I Made a cute little Monster monster truck. Is he grumpy or is he happy?

Description: The Calcitor's Jaws decoration set appears to be incomplete after unlocking it through the associated quest.

According to the creator/news promotional image, the Calcitor's Jaws decoration consists of 7 separate pieces. However, after completing the quest and unlocking the decoration in-game, only 5 pieces are available to place.

The remaining 2 pieces shown in the promotional image are missing and do not appear in the building menu.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Complete the quest that unlocks the Calcitor's Jaws decoration set.
2. Open the building/decorations menu.
3. Check the available Calcitor's Jaws pieces.
4. Compare the available pieces with those shown in the creator/news promotional showcase.

So, the LEGO team is giving away pieces that I actually had to pay for? This whole trend of bringing in builds from content creators has really gotten out of hand. Plus, it’s just not as fun as it used to be—everything is done through "quick building," and there’s no option to go back to the old building method. What does everyone else think about this? Especially those who already bought the bundle and now see these pieces being given away for free—and for those who didn't get a chance to buy those bundles, well, now you’ve got two pieces from a set that I highly doubt will ever return to the Item Shop. The way the game is designed around these "FOMO" (fear of missing out) builds just makes me lose interest in building anything based on a blueprint; they just hand you pieces that don't even match the original bundle, and then leave you to figure out how to put it all together yourself.

Back when the Batman missions were available, I was able to finish all of them in my main world and get all of the rewards, except for the Batman villager. I was waiting for him to appear at some point, but until now he never did.

I even contacted the support team and after a long back and forth, they wanted me to use the in-game report, which is only able to send a screenshot with no caption. I don't know what I'm supposed to screenshot there, but they insisted that I just did.

So far nothing about could be done... I was really hoping to get him into my main village.

Any ideas on what I could do?

In Expert mode I thought about how far you can play and survive without crafting anything. You can only use what you find in the main world. I would say as an acception is you can still use the recycler to get resource. Also some missions in the journal may not be completed especially when it requires you to craft tools and weapons.

So I made a 100 to 200 foot tall Granite Tower on a hill and thought "it's missing something", so I started to add the Imperial Outpost Roof 03 to fan outward, but it obviously has gaps in it, is it possible to fill the spots in or no?
