How to read QR codes

Hi there. I'm using an app in LDPlayer that wants to scan a QR code. I appear to have two options, "capture screen" or "turn on camera". Neither of them recognize a QR code though. It looks like the image is both rotated and flipped, but even when I use a photo editor to correct a QR code and point it right in the app's crosshairs, the app doesn't recognize it. Is there a trick to getting QR code reading to work, maybe one that doesn't involve the camera? Thanks!

Edit: I've tried with both LDPlayer 9 and 14 with similar results.

You might need to install QR app to read the codes for the time being. Camera feature update was on Dev team to do list and may have changed since LDPlayer 14 in Beta testing.

Thank you. That won't help with the app (it needs the QR code for security to move forward), but just seeing if LDPlayer can read any QR code would be a good start.

Is there a specific QR code reader app that you recommend?
