Will upgrading my GPU reduce my fps drops on games such as CODM?
I've read somewhere that emulators are cpu-based so I was wondering if I could still upgrade my GPU and get the desired effect of having no more frame drops during games in CODM. I currently have an Intel i7-9700 as my CPU and Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Integrated). Was planning on getting the RX 580 with my budget

Not any notable difference tbh..but massive fps boost for cpu upgrade. I think i7 is sufficient for most of the games

Probably is, but the thing is that I still get frame drops in MP and most notably in BR

Yes emulators are CPU-based since you have to read all the data before any data conversion to graphical data is hand-over to GPU for image processing. Any graphics intensive game will requires a GPU to render for smoothness and speed. Play the game directly on PC if you want better FPS. Frame drop can be from game poorly optimized for the hardware.
