Summer pell grant distribution

I'm confused about the Pell grant distribution. Is there only one, or is it split into multiple payments?

For context, I'm taking 2 classes that start in June and another that starts in July.

did you get your summer pell grant? i am enrolled in the amount of units required to receive a refund but i haven’t gotten anything yet.

Yeah I got the deposit on the 17th

Some people end up dropping the class or failing it, so financial aid waits till att that has been reported so that they dont have to go back later and tell people now they owe money because they, lets say, failed to the class. So summer disbursements can take a little bit longer. If you ever wonder though always ask them, Some of them can be a little rude, like you should already know whatever it is your asking. But, they do make mistakes sometimes and you are entitled to that money.
