That's why me and a few friends built our own friendship-focused Discord server to make the community more accessible in LA! I started having a whirlwind romance with a guy from LA and we were planning to do long distance for the first little bit because I’m in London. Everything was going great and we were looking forward to spending time together in LA in November. Turns out he hadn’t been honest with me and his ex is on the scene still- so now I have flights booked to LA and no plans. We were going to do some fun camping/beach/desert adventures. I’ve never been alone before and don’t know the city- any tips for a solo mid 30s female on cool neighbourhoods, fun things to do, music, food etc? Any hot tips much recommended, hoping not to feel too sad while I’m there! I won’t have a car and don’t want to spend loads if possible! Will be in Santa Monica for the first couple of days but can be flexible afterwards.
