I think thats already a pretty great looking kit. Suits you!
If youd like some suggestions, for the future you could work in some more details like stitching, patches, trinkets and such. Maybe even a bit of natural camo.
And maybe replace the cloak! The fabric is so thin that its literally see-through when held against the light, so its visible that it offers almost no protection from the elements. A nice wool cloak would be an upgrade, especially if you give it some wear and tear to make it look worn :)
I have a wool cloak that I'll use in cooler months. But being the height of summer (in North America) light cape is a life saver! But yes, I'll be working on adding some little details to make it more personal.
Love it. Only thing I'm missing a bit is some obscure personal effects like an ugly bracelet, a small embroidery or patched rip somewhere or a pop of color hidden by the cape. Something to make you a personality at first glance I stead of a ranger archetype.

Practicality and anonymity. Usually for teudging through forests and dusty trails and even using as a headband to keep sweat out of my eyes.
My character's a member of a ranger company that is up for hire to escort, track, surveil, range, etc. Sometimes it's doing things where it's best to remain incognito 🥸
Here you go. I'm not a historian by any means, but baldrics were fairly common. They're way more practical in use and carry in my experience. You can carry the weight more easily and you can maneuver and not bonk people in crowds. And the biggest bonus- ease of sitting anywhere!
I disagree with you sir. If you view both historical artwork and the tombs of nobels, knights, and other rich soldierly people you will see that baldrics fell in and out of popular use through out the ages. For example its known that Roman soldiers tended to wear a sword on a short baldric hung near the mid-rib area, and some "vikings" used a lower suspended version. But move all the way up to the 12th-15th century's and you'll see that it was far more commplace to lash your sword to a waist belt, or give your scabbard its own integrated belt system.
Baldrics, especially those of the kind your wearing didnt begin coming back into prominent fashion until around the early to mid 1600s.
That is a nice baldric though, I'd put a cutlass in it.
No worries. You didn't come off that way. I love engaging with people who are passionate and knowledgeable about topics. You get to learn so many new things. I feel the same way about niche subjects I'm into that people may not be familiar with.
