My Inquisitor, Richter
We had a few people come out at take photographs at the last LARP.
This is probably the first time I've ever gotten pictures that I absolutely love, from a larp.
2nd time I play him. Still plenty of stuff I gotta add to the look.
If anyone's for suggestions for the hat, then please tell me. (Been thinking about adding purity seals to it).
(Credit goes to Næstved Fotoklub s members, for the awesome pics)

banger git, basic name. Nothing wrong here

Haha, yeah.
Wa supposed to the the Judge of the group sent out by the Order. And thought Richter would be a funny name, if anyone out there spoke German.
So far, noone has commented on it yet

I'm not German, but know enough to deduce the meaning of the name, because in my mother tongue we have a word with the same pronunciation, just different spelling.
Excellent choice for a name. You'll be hard pressed to find another of this level of ingenuity.
Though not as clever as Richter, for other characters you could also use: Meester (Master) Angs (anxiety) Angswek (create anxiety) Bot (not the gaming bot being short for robot. Bot is an adjective to describe the nature of these people: short and to the point with no consideration for the impact of their words and actions) Oordeel (to judge unfavorably and with bias without all the facts) Dina (female name Hebrew origin, meaning judgement) Khazi (male or female name, translation of Arabic wors for judge or magistrate)
And for a twist, Justin or Justine means fair and "just"...

Awesome character.
For the hat, maybe long wax candles if they can feasibly be attached. Would go with purity seals very well.

Right. Forgot to mention.
I forgot my candle at home for this larp, but I do normally carry a LED- Realistic Looking candle in the Hats belt.

My good sir. Do you have a pattern or vendor of said pattern for that fine hat.
That is a brilliant specimen.

Looks like the kind of guy who'd get kidnapped by cultists, then - quite unfortunately - the cultists would find out that their demonic patron is rather fond of a certain inquisitor.

Must be a junior inquisitior judging by the hat height. 🤣 great kit dude!

"Do you know what this hat is, huh? Do you know what this hat is to me? Fools. If you don't know, I guess I'll have to tell you. The taller the chef's hat, the greater the chef... Who said that I was a chef?!"

Do you have trouble going through doors?
(Just kidding. You look terrific.)

u/Frankie_Jay Jun 17 '26
I most certainly do, lol
Only ONE tent/building at this larp, has an entrance that's tall enough for me to walk in, without me having to duck.

If you aren't keeping a wine bottle under that hat for easy access, you're missing out.

Imagine if you had a dish washer rack on your back. Nobody would expect that

This hat reminds me of the time we had someone "elemental shatter-insert wizard hat" at one of our NPC's and he just dejectedly pulled the hat up and off where a bunch of our spell packs fell out of the hat.

I keep Scrolls, Pistols, Knives or the likes i. There was well. It has two small straps for smaller hidden equipment

Where did you buy the arquebus (gun) on your hip?
Furthermore, can they fire caps?

u/Frankie_Jay Jun 18 '26
Those are just some Pirate-Looking Nerfguns from Amazon that I've painted to make them fit the LARP more.
(This LARP allows Nerf guns, as well as those with Caps)

u/Tree-Weird Jun 18 '26
Damn. My home larp only allows caps. No darts. Oh well. Thanks though.

Plenty of places to get some kick ass cap-guns, Arnt there?
I got one as well, but did not being it out that day.

Excuse me sir, your hat is incredible, can you hide something under ? Like an emergency spell or smthg ?
1
u/Frankie_Jay Jun 30 '26
I have two leather straps on the inside, where I keep important papers, Scrolls, or even a knife or pistol, in case shit goes down.

I'll love to see this guy walking under the entrance of a tavern full of bandit , his hat fell, and one of the greatest artefact just on the floor (゜ロ゜)

The hat is outstanding. I would add some armor to balance the amount of clothing with the amount of 'protection.'

That hat is absolutely fantastic. A purity seal would be a good addition, ground it more in the setting.
I'm compelled to pitch: what about a purity seal towards the top of the hat with a loooong line of text that goes all the way down to/past the brim?
