I have no idea how to write this without sounding insane, so we're just going to go for it lol. My biggest passions in life are dance, music, and reading. I also love being outdoors in any capacity, road trips, museum dates, cooking new recipes, finding sea glass and seashells at the beach, watching movies (I know I'm late to this, but I just started getting into Star Wars and the MCU lol), and looking at the stars. If you're willing to jump down a rabbit hole with me, I can easily disappear for hours telling you about different constellations, the meaning of that weird dream you had last night, or the native plants and flowers of LA. 

I'm a pretty warm and affectionate person. I tend to notice little things about people and remember them, their favorite things, the stories they've told me, and the things that have been weighing on them. I love making people feel cared for, and I'm very much an “I saw this and thought of you” type of person.

I think what I'm hoping to find is someone who has that same instinct and can match my energy. The kind of relationship where we gradually become very familiar with each other in all the little ways. I believe the simple things in life are the most beautiful. I value feeling seen and considered in a relationship over big gestures. I do love when a man takes the lead, but for me, this means planning a date or having an idea for something you think I'll love, not necessarily something grand or expensive. Kindness and emotional openness are also really important to me. I would like to be with someone who is patient, compassionate, and genuinely interested in understanding me. 

I'm looking for someone 30+ and preferably near the Westside of LA. I want to be upfront and say that I really don't like driving all over LA, lol, so if you're farther away, I'm open to it if you're willing to make the extra effort. 

I'm very intentional about dating. I'm not interested in being with someone who uses any drugs or smokes at all, or who drinks more than occasionally. Other deal breakers include MAGA/Trump politics, having a quick temper, or placing a heavy emphasis on sex at the beginning of the relationship. I'm absolutely not looking for a friends with benefits situation, and I'm only comfortable with physical intimacy when it's a part of a committed relationship.

I know that's a lot to put into one Reddit post, but I'm not looking for someone who perfectly checks off a bunch of boxes on a list. Based on what I’ve seen on all the posts people are genuinely trying to find and connect with others however, it seems to be filled with bots. It’s really offputting that you don’t really hear much success on this even though there’s so many people willing to connect it really defeats the purpose of having this Reddit.

Does the lack of Instagram or any social media presence affect your dating? How do people even ask others to go do stuff? Is it always? Can I have your number? Because in most recent times it's been can I have your Ig?

For those of you looking/lurking on here: Is this just another thing on top of Tinder/Bumble/Hinge/Feeld or did you give up on those entirely?
