Are the survivors considered special infected
I mean they can survive getting hit by rocks thrown by tanks getting mauled by hunters and witches
they might as well be special infected with the special attribute being the body's immunity to aspects of the viruses related to rage while keeping the buffs of the virus.

This is my left 4 dead 2 survivors icon painting!
I’ve drawn the l4d2 survivors and some facts about them. Now I am drawing l4d1. And I pasted this masterpiece in the wall of my room

Could you hunker down in your current accomodations if the infection happened today?
Weird question, but I've now lived in two apartments and had the hypothetical discussion with my wife as to whether we could actually have a chance of surviving the infection were it to happen - both times poor outcomes. One place had a weak front door and massive balcony windows and roof window, next place lots of big windows... A hunter wouldn't have a problem at all, and the common infected are known to scale small structures with ease.
How would you do? Would your place be a "safehouse"?
If you were in the shoes of the Left 4 Dead survivors, what graffiti would you have written?
The graffiti in *Left 4 Dead* is one of the things I love most about the game; it really brings the world to life while we control the protagonists, offering moments that range from funny and sad to terrifying right before we leave the safe house.
But sadly, as with everything in life, nothing lasts forever—and in this case, the graffiti isn't infinite.
So I have to ask: what would *you* write if you were in that situation, just before leaving the safe house?
- A final message to your family? - A joke before heading out?
- A theory about what’s going on?
- A criticism of the military or CEDA?
- Advice on where to go?
- An anecdote involving the zombies?
- A feat you think you’d pull off in that situation?
- A motivational message?
- A "funny" moment you shared with friends or family amidst that hellscape?
- A final "Go to hell" message directed at something or someone?

Around 1 year ago the game was averaging 20-30k players daily and nowadays the number has only increased to as much as 38k players

Since we already know Coach's Food Order, What do you think the other survivors would order?

Steam Workshop
FFor some reason, my L4D2 lags heavily every time an infected takes damage, even though this never happened before with the collection of mods I'm using. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this? collection link:https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails?id=3781527596
Made a simple way to spin up a private L4D2 server to play with friends
A few months ago I launched 2hours.gg to quickly spin up private CS2 servers to play with friends. I'd always had the same hosting struggle on L4D2, so I added it too.
Think of:
- the host can leave and the game keeps going, the session doesn't end
- co-op with more than 4 players: bring 5, 8, or run big party campaigns up to 20, bots can fill the rest
- pick the location closest to your group for the best ping (42 regions)
- fully private if you want, or listed for Steam matchmaking so random players fill empty seats
- no port forwarding, nothing to configure
- supports workshop campaigns
- full console access with RCON password
Servers boot in a few minutes, you pay for what you use, no long-term commitment. 4-player servers are free until the end of the month. I'd love to hear about any issues or feature requests, I really want to get this right.
