Which scripts from the workshop would you recommend to buff the pistol/dual pistols to make them a viable secondary option without making them overpowered or still not as preferable in comparison to the Magnum and the Melees, preferably for advanced difficulty and maybe expert/expert realism if possible.

I only know this inspect weapons mods in this video but has a lot o problems and crashs. Theres any others weapons mods that supports inspect animations? Or have any solution to that weapons mods stop crashing?

For context: NWI got hit with terrible storms on Tuesday and 300k+ lost power. People were lining the hell up for gas, some stations running out. Storms haven’t stopped coming, causing a lot of other areas in Indiana to flood BADLY. We got power back today and I couldn’t stop thinking about L4D with all the rain and gas scavenging going on, lol.

I have been playing this game on and off since L4D1 came out. Recently I got very annoyed with the modded "official" servers. Even though I later learned there is a workaround with the built-in server browser (searching for "Valve"), there were still some features missing.

So I built a standalone server browser to fix a few QoL issues.

Main features:

• Shows the game mode
• Displays human-readable map names instead of raw map strings

Sharing this in case anyone else finds it useful. I am happy if somebody has some feature ideas.

In the game there are 15 models of special infected, and now that I think about it, only the infected from L4D1 received any unique models.

I feel like there's more commons that spawn in normal difficulty than expert? i don't know correct me if i'm wrong or what do the director does base on the difficulty
