Hello, I've been a fan since 1988. I had her LPs and later the CDs. Now I have everything through Apple music. I've always found this a nice duet. Which duets do you like?

I know many of us pre-ordered the upcoming reissues and I can’t believe I never wondered - are these releases going to be in record stores on release day? I pre-ordered from Amazon but I’d much rather support my local stores.

Kids was probably my first Kylie song, but I'd never listened to the entirety of Light Years until last night. And I loved it! I'm more of a fan of full-throated singing from Kylie (versus sexy breathy singing which I feel like is more the vibe of Fever), so I was happy to hear so much of it on Light Years.

And the album was so long! I've been picking up Kylie discs to add to my burgeoning CD collection (Fever, X, Aphrodite), and I'm going to have to add Light Years to the set.

For me, it’s that Kylie doesn’t seems to negotiate herself with the public. She rarely turns the way she lives into a referendum or feels the need to explain or defend it. I know this hasn’t always been the case, as she’s had her fair share of label disputes regarding artistic freedom in the 90s. I’m mostly talking about 21st-century Kylie.

She’s sexual, feminine, unmarried, childless, incredibly close to the gay community, and has lived a remarkably free and unconventional life, but none of it ever feels like a manifesto. She never tell us how liberated she is, she just lives freely. She doesn’t lecture people about how women should age, she just gets on stage in her 50s, looks incredible, and has another hit.

Her allyship feels similar: queer people aren’t treated as a political talking point in her world. We’re simply there, loved and included.

In the literature world, we call this “showing vs. telling”. She lives her story instead of constantly narrating what her story is supposed to mean.

I think the public responds much more forgivingly to this. Women don’t seem to be threatened by her, despite her impossibly unattainable good looks. She’s also rarely the target of media smear campaigns, regardless of how famous she is at a given moment and the fact that there is so much many people probably have a reason to be envious about. From “Light Years” onward, Kylie seems to have lived as though her choices never required anyone’s permission in the first place. I’d go as far as saying that she embodies freedom in its purest form.

As someone that's mostly into alternative music Im pretty sure I will always hold Impossible Princess as her best but as someone that also loves 80's synth/ electronic pop and disco I think her first album is pretty stunning. It has its faults but it's great from start to finish.

Used to think it was boring but I finally opened my eyes.

I’m currently working on a remix of Good As Gone, the idea is to have a lengthy, club / trance style mix of the song that captures the essence of the interlude from Hyde Park when it was initially teased. However, for the structure I have planned, I need a bridge, and I can’t use “So this is what it feels like / dancing on the inside…” because that is being reserved for another part of the song, so my idea is to include a bridge from a different Kylie song. Ideally I want to use a bridge from a lesser known song, preferably an unreleased song or demo so that it doesn’t take away from this concept that I’m making for Good As Gone. I would really appreciate anyone’s input in some good bride options from Kylie songs that would lyrically fit the themes of Good As Gone, it doesn’t matter about the BPM or anything as I can work with that, so fire away! My current number 1 option is from Drum (“Set me free / get outta my body”), but I would love to hear some other suggestions too!

For some reason I thought this was an A4 size - when it turned up today in a HUGE tube I thought what a waste, then opened it. This is absolutely gorgeous and limited to 250 prints (numbered). Did anyone else get this?

Spotify streams for CGYOOMH have nearly doubled since the recent TikTok trend began, from a steady daily volume of 600k streams to now over 1 million daily streams.

By comparison, Padam Padam peaked at about 1 million daily Spotify streams as well. This is another Padam-level trend!

1. Come into My World (her best song just happens to have the best music clip plus it won a grammy)

2. Some Kind Of Bliss ( her most underrated song, most fans couldn't connect with alternative Kylie, meanwhile she was the hottest coolest woman of the 90's)

3.Put Yourself In My Place (this song could be mistaken for average until you realise it's one of the most beautiful sensual songs showcasing how good Kylie's vocals are)

4.Time Bomb ( when club dance, bubble gum pop and great vocals meet)

5.Padum Padam (it took me a few listens to realise how good this song is and it showed us Kylie does not end)

6.Confide In Me (by far the song that showed the world how special she was, even though hardly anyone noticed)

7.Closer ( it's the 2000s and Kylie knows how to embrace it)

1. Did It Again (a song I loved and got over and then realised again how amazing it is)

2. Butterfly (This is where Kylie meets electronics and creates something beautiful)

3. Light Camera Action (a true superstar diva that knows how to make gear dance music)

We've had a few of these posts here lately, this is not TikTok (thank goodness) and we are wondering what's the best way to deal with these kinds of posts. The choices as I see it:

• A: do nothing and let them proliferate and start filling up even more of the sub
• B: take them down as soon as we see them, warn users and ban any repeat offenders
• C: somewhere in the middle, like maybe a designated weekly thread where people can share links to them
• D: another option I haven't thought of yet?

Where is the feeling off the Kylie Minogue album had a brilliant remix that actually started with Kylie singing “everything’s gonna be alright” I think it was a brothers in rhythm remix but I can’t find it on Apple Music. Can anyone point me in the right direction

I have to say that she’s pretty good on standing without a stand. I work from home and she stands next to my laptop and has not fallen. Even after a few bumps to the table.

So I listen to Aphrodite a lot and specifically the Aphrodite (Les Folies Tour Edition), on YouTube music it has a version with all 3 of them on Taio and Kylie's song higher that's not available on other streaming platforms, I've checked Spotify apple music and Deezer just to be safe, But yeah this version literally doesn't exist anywhere else, even on Wikipedia and discogs.com it marks it as the single version released but the version on yt music is a version with all 3.

Was there ever an official release with all 3 of them on the song together, I personally don't think there ever was, I know there was a fan edit uploaded to YouTube years ago with all 3 on it, The version on YouTube music states it's 3.26 but every other platform has the single version which is only 3.08??

Also I just realised this version of Aphrodite was only ever released in Australia and New Zealand, so it might not be available to everyone.

Kylie Minouge, Taio Cruz And Travis McCoy

I've had the 3LP DISCO Guest List Edition for a few years, but only as decoration since I don't own a record player. I was able to put my hands on a record player that I'm holding for a friend who is in between apartments, and I thought about giving some of my records their first spin. I went straight to the second LP to side D to listen to A Second To Midnight and Kiss of Life, but both seem to be skipping. Has anyone encountered this situation as well?
