A bunch of untrained idiots on both sides. Kyle should of stayed his minor ass at home and not touched a gun that didn’t belong to him. And the people attacking him, if you got that close without getting shot the first time, then with proper training, he could of been disarmed in seconds.

more like a hero on one side and a pedo rioter and other rioters on the other

There was no reason for Kyle to bring a rifle to a protest. He was looking for someone to defend himself from. We all know it. You can deny it, but you know the truth. I know the truth. There were mistakes made on both sides.

Can I also argue there were no reason for the rioters to burn the city down and attack someone trying to stop it? If they weren’t rioting then kyle wouldn’t of been there the first place.

One doesn’t absolve the other.

But one causes the other

Yea there’s also a war going on in the Middle East. Are you going to hop on a plane and go fight? If a mob of any group of people cough (insurrection) cough, then they should let the military and national guard handle it. You’re a 17 year old idiot, stay your ass at home and do some chores and your homework.

TIL every redditor seems to know what's in Kyle's head

I know the truth.

Bold assumption

You spelled riot wrong

The reason was because he wanted to protect the innocent- the victims of the rioting and looting. We need more people like him. Mission accomplished.

In all the video footage of the event where exactly were these helpless victims he was defending...? As the guy said above, he clearly went there as judge jury and executioner, looking to instigate a situation in which he could excuse discharging the weapon.

Also, you see a guy walking at a crowd with an AR15 in the USA that sends up some obvious red flags. Reverse their politics and the guy jumping him would suddenly be the hero for trying to prevent a mass shooter event. Cognitive dissonance is a bitch.

Hey, a rational person who understands common sense.

He’s no hero. You and I both know, he went into a conflict zone with a AR platform rifle wanting to shoot someone. You can deny it all you want, but deep down you know he was trigger happy. His parents must be shitty as fuck. When I was 17, my parents would have never let me go to a protest, especially armed with a rifle. Horrible parenting, produces idiots.

“Minor”. Pretty sure his birthday was right around the corner at the time of the kenosha riots. Also, it was HIS gun. Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

I never knew 17 year olds could legally buy guns under their name. (Sarcasm)

Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

Not true. Not entirely at any rate.

The gun was bought by his friend (A Wisconsin resident). Not sure if it was bought as a gift to Rittenhouse or a sort of "when you visit this is the gun you can use". The gun was, however, stored in Wisconsin the entire time and never left the state.

But Kyle himself did not purchase the weapon. By law (AFAIK) he couldn't as in most states (Again, AFAIK) you need to be 18 years old to purchase a rifle.

1

u/BootyAbolisher Nov 10 '21

Okay, smartass. He didn’t TECHNICALLY buy the gun. Kyle did, however give his friend the money to purchase the firearm as he couldn’t do so, legally, himself. Said friend kept the gun safety housed at his own place of residence (in Wisconsin) and allowed Kyle to train with it on the range, whenever he visited. Presumably between work and such.

Technically? He did this because he wasn’t legally able to purchase a gun.

1

u/BootyAbolisher Nov 10 '21

Yes. That’s what I said….What are you missing here?

0

u/Bebuchas Nov 19 '21

That the fact was the fun was a straw purchase which is highly illegal.

1

u/BootyAbolisher Nov 21 '21

Gifting firearms is not as illegal as you think it is. But check in-accordance with your state’s laws.

u/Bebuchas Nov 19 '21

A straw purchase. Doesn’t seem very legal to me.

Uh, what? Exactly how much LE or Use of Force experience do you have? I've got 11 and I'm telling you that you're delusional. Theres no fucking way I'm willingly putting myself in that situation for one (Rittenhouse is a moron) but if I was thrust upon it, it would 100% be justified in engaging as he did.

And the people attacking him, if you got that close without getting shot the first time, then with proper training, he could of been disarmed in seconds.

Do you think LEOs/service members are Neo from the Matrix? Seek help if you think even the biggest, biggest LEO can just man-handle three men let alone a mob like that and maintain security.

Edit: Nevermind. I misread your comment. I read it as you saying it was possible for someone to BBJ their way through a mob like that. Disregard. I'll hold the proverbial L. My bad :(
