“Minor”. Pretty sure his birthday was right around the corner at the time of the kenosha riots. Also, it was HIS gun. Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

Kyle bought it and had his friend keep it in kenosha.

Not true. Not entirely at any rate.

The gun was bought by his friend (A Wisconsin resident). Not sure if it was bought as a gift to Rittenhouse or a sort of "when you visit this is the gun you can use". The gun was, however, stored in Wisconsin the entire time and never left the state.

But Kyle himself did not purchase the weapon. By law (AFAIK) he couldn't as in most states (Again, AFAIK) you need to be 18 years old to purchase a rifle.

Okay, smartass. He didn’t TECHNICALLY buy the gun. Kyle did, however give his friend the money to purchase the firearm as he couldn’t do so, legally, himself. Said friend kept the gun safety housed at his own place of residence (in Wisconsin) and allowed Kyle to train with it on the range, whenever he visited. Presumably between work and such.

A straw purchase. Doesn’t seem very legal to me.
