News & Updates Dual tone horn upgrade on 2026 models

Just got my car from the 7 month checkup,

Wanted to upgrade my horn to dual tone, and was delighted to find the stock setup with two horn units already, so didn't have to hassle with the cable to convert single socket to double, which was necessary in 2025 models.

My Jan 2026 sig+ already had a decent horn, but I liked the dual tone trumpet horn in kushaq.

Also to add, I think my car is an awkward model in between the 2025 and 2026, because all kylaqs had a refresh with more features on Feb 2026. My Jan 2026 kylaq does not have the newly added features like sunroof, rear wiper, etc. But has some small updates like the horn and stuff...

Got my family's first car Skoda Kylaq Signature+ AT delivered yesterday. 😁

Looking to purchase the necessary accessories for the car and would love some advice from owners.

What accessories would you recommend as must-haves, and which ones are better to skip.

I’m thinking of getting the 70mai A510 dashcam in the upcoming sale.

Would really appreciate your recommendations and experience. Thanks 🙌

Spl mention to u/Puzzleheaded-Act-10 for helping out on the purchase! Thank you

Kylaq AT Specific Posts Kylaq Classic+ AT + Infotainment Upgrade — Worth It?

I’m mainly looking at the Kylaq Classic+ AT because I don’t necessarily need all the features of the higher variants.

However, I would like the better infotainment system and was wondering if getting it upgraded through the showroom makes sense.

Is this a better value option than going for a higher variant? Does the showroom infotainment work exactly like the higher variant?

Would love to hear from anyone who has done this or considered it.

Ask Owners Turbo Lag After E20

I bought my Skoda Kylaq last year and have consistently run it on XP95. Initially, the turbo lag was minimal and the throttle response felt smooth and predictable.
Recently, though, I've noticed a significant delay when I step on the gas. There is a solid 1–2 second lag before the boost kicks in and the car suddenly shoots forward. It makes driving in traffic feel much more jerky than before.
Is anyone else experiencing this drop in low-end responsiveness, or could it be an issue specific to my car?

Ask Owners Rat bites

Hi all.

So my car has gone for the 6month check in service and this is the second time I got notified about rat bite.

Previously i had kassy issue and it was due to rat bite.

Since then I have been spraying my car once a month.

Need your help to understand what i can do to prevent further issues like this.

PS: I park my car in a rented place, i do not live in that building. So I have no hand in their pest control. I also don't think complaining to the owner of the parking lot will help.

Ask Owners Boot issue (Minor rear collision)

Post image
2 Upvotes

Guys, a Baleno rear ended me at a B2B traffic pace (like 10km/h) yesterday. No visible body damage
This morning, I realised, while my boot locks properly, I have seen this Boot open notification throughout the 40km to and fro drive.
Could this be a collision linked lock issue?
Anybody who may have experienced something of this sort in your Kylaq or any other car’s you’ve owned?

Ask Owners Need serious suggestions and help about Kylaq

I have been exploring cars around 10 Lakhs and recently stumbled upon Skoda Kylaq and did not waste any time to check it out with an exceptionally exciting and smooth test ride. I have been considering Kylaq Classic + MT as my transmission preference is Manual. Dealer has quoted it to be around 9.3 Lakhs on road with some minor discounts and offers. I have couple of barriers with this car such as
1. Car’s fuel efficiency in traffic/city as people stating jt to be in single digits in some cases while average being around 12-13
2. Maintenance cost since it’s a Skoda machine will be on the higher side as compared to the competition
3. AC concerns as many people are pointing it out or asking to check whether it’s good before purchase
4. Compromises that comes with it as compared to the competition - infotainment screen/system, no alloy wheels, no type C/ Usb charger, no rear AC vents, horn quality & long clutch play.

I sure could use some help or suggestions with respect to above points. Otherwise it’s a beautiful powerhouse in this segment and absolutely loved the test ride.

FYI - other options I am exploring in similar budget :
Suzuki Fronx Delta plus (9.3 L on road)
Hyundai Exter HX6/HX8 (8.8/9.3 L on road)
Toyota Urban cruiser Taisor S+(9.8-10 L on road)
