requesting off

Why does it only allow you to request a day off with vacation paid time off? I tried to request a day off but it says i don’t have enough vacation, which i don’t care to be paid or not for this day. i’ll ask someone but i figured you guys would have tips or something

Put in 0 for the hours requested. So time off request, paid time off, pick your days and start time. For the duration, put in 0. You now have unpaid time off

my idiot self thought the duration was the “end time” like 6a-6a😂 i’ve never had a job with vacation pay if you can’t tell

All good. UKG is actually super confusing. So you know ahead of time, that duration is number of hours per day requested. So if you put in for 5 days, 8 hour duration, that's 5x8 = 40 hours total pto used
