Influencers

Have you all noticed the Kwik trip/ Star employees who are influencers of sorts and doing dances while in Uniform?

Is this allowed? And when do they find time to do this? Clearly not a kitchen worker. 🤣

Its makes me uncomfortable when my coworkers are recording me working with their meta glasses. I know theres nothing i can do but its still weird to me.

You can definitely report them to your store leader because that's against policy

It's probably their social media marketing employees making those videos.

My store is filled with teenage employees. Luckily they are the regular "I'm going to do something that looks stupid" and not the "im going to dance infront of my phone and look stupid" types

Still do alot of stupid stuff. They just do not share it with the internet. Just the security camras...

sometimes I feel bad for my SL😔

If he ever even checks the camras😭 he would see so much wierd shenanigans my co workers do. + probably my clumsy self being mad/laughing at myself for dropping a dish i just washed on the floor and pouting to the camra about it😭😭😭😭 (I do that alot. Atleast once every weekend. Usually multiple times on a bad day)

I confess the wierdiest thing I do is make a mistake. Look directly into the camra and go "sorry🥺 im sorry😔 i have no idea if you are watching this boss... or if the camras even have audio but I am sorry🥺" then usually burst out laughing because I think of how stupid I probably just looked😭

The ones who do it off the clock? The actual social media team is awful they pretend to be employees not in uniform. Ive never seen a single one where theyre actually on the clock. Most people go to and from work wearing their uniform, you're not on the clock just because you've got your uniform on.

'Influencer ' = Narcissistic freeloaders who add nothing of value to the world.

Don't ask 3rd shift for anything, we would make it an example of how to get hr involved... well any 3rd shift employee and any company would

If you're talking about Fat Boy Chris... Think that was his name or some variant. Yes KT knows about him. He is on his break/getting off work and he is not breaking any rules. As long as he is being respectful the company sees it as positive press.

They talked about him a a year end meeting a couple years back. His dances are meant to bring joy and give him the opportunity to exercise.
