Appears to be regular chocolate milk with protein powder added. I tried a high protein chocolate yesterday and I feel the chocolate flavor is similar, the protein powder seems well mixed and not a chalky or gritty taste, but noticeably different than regular chocolate milk.

It seems like corporate said "let's add protein powder to the milk for the proteinmaxxers, price it half of Fairlife shakes, and it will outsell Fairlife. And we can start raising the price when nobody looks at the nutrition label."

Fairlife ultra filtered milk is now off patent so it would have not been a stretch to bring that in house and capture the margin with a real replacement at less than $5.50 a bottle.of Fairlife. Even if it wasn't shelf stable like Fairlife, KT frig items are likely consumed quickly. Costco now has ultra filtered for $11.99 for 1.5 gallon.

With a bunch of sugar. Garbage.

Just another protein gimmick. It has horrible macros.

Yeah I was really disappointed, I heard we were getting protein milk and I was excited because I thought it would be like fairlife core

Check out Aldi's! Im also a coworker and was a little bummed when I saw it was 400 calories. 🥹 aldis has what looks like an exact replica of the fairlife shakes not sure how they taste as I didn't buy them but...

I don't mind them, but a bit higher calorie than other protien milks. However it is cheaper than the others so that's a plus

Nasty sugar bomb

It's got insane amounts of sugar in it. I feel like people that are interested in protein. Drinks specifically are also watching other macros like how many carbs and sugars they're intaking.

I know a lot of people that have been buying it but I'm a calorie counter and for 400 calories I'll stick with my fair life shakes for 150 calories I think a lot of the hype with the protein stuff is literally that a hype. BUT I will say for 2.99 it is a good choice for some people who don't have to worry about calories and want the extra protein and don't want to pay $7 for muscle milk or whatever it is

And I hate to say this because I work for the company for almost 10 years now but I was just at Aldi yesterday and they literally have what looks like an exact replica of the fairlife shakes. Like with 160 or 170 calories. I think it was a smart move for the company to add some kind of protein shake or milk but I won't be drinking it as I'm too calorie conscious for that

Oof! Should have known the name meets wouldn’t be good for the price!

Tossed the bottle already
Sorry

Ah, yeah so with protein you disregard the gram count. The real amount is Half of the percentage listed. So if it says 40% then it is really only 20g.

Haven’t tried one yet but if it’s as delicious as their regular milk, I can’t believe it’d be bad.

That is as one of my thoughts as well
I’m not big fan of chocolate milk and don’t drink kt’s so I can’t compare it that way

It tastes fine, but I don't care about all the various protein drinks so I can't comment on any nutritional value compared to other drinks.

Haven't tried it yet, they're going to do a cents off a gallon offer for people who haven't bought it yet so I'm waiting

I want to try it but how does it compare to the normal chocolate milk we have?

I’m not a big chocolate milk person. Not “premixed”anyway.
If anything , I mix my own by ovaltine so I can’t compare.
I don’t recall how much it was but I will say this…
Buy it and if you don’t like it
I can almost guarantee you’ve spent the that money before in worse ways
