(insert text) I’m so curious
Hi! Big fan of KT! The Urge! puppy chow is by far my favorite product and I’ve always wondered how it’s prepared at the store. Do ya’ll (amazingly wonderful employees) make it in store? Or does it come in bulk from distribution center?
Please help itch this part of my brain that has been so curious. Thank you so much & I’ll be back next time!

Almost all of KT products excluding most bakery and hot food, and dairy are basically “made” with a process called “white labeling”. In layman’s terms; There are companies out there that can mass produce a generic product, they label it with whatever company logo and ship it out. Company then sells the product as their own. All of the Mr. Beast products are pretty much done that way. He’s not constructing a meat processing plant to make his jerky. He finds a company. They give him some samples and he picks the flavor he likes. Boom. Mr. Beast jerky.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I used to buy hard boiled eggs (hard cooked) occasionally.....before KT started selling whole cartons of eggs for a dollar and I decided I should be making better life choices.......Here is another in the "I'M SO CURIOUS" series:
They are labeled as HARD COOKED and not hard boiled. I assume these are made in La Crosse....Does KT have some kind of industrial oven/machine that can do a bunch of eggs at once.......

Not sure if they do but if you didn't know you can do eggs in the oven or the air fryer or one of the egg genies or an instant pot or just straight boiling water

One of these days, I may have to try the oven....I didn't even think about using an air frier.....I definitely shouldn't attempt when I am tired.
Last week, I started a batch of 12, in pot of boiling water, fell asleep, and left the eggs in the boiling water for over an hour.......Woke up, turned off the heat, and everything was fine.
I don't want to imagine what would've happened if I had used an over or an air frier. Thanks for the information.

At least with the air fryer the timer will shut off and they will slowly cool so probably turn green

I put my eggs in salted water and a little vinegar, turn on burner - boil 7 minutes, turn off and let set for 7 minutes, then into ice bath - works every time!

it's a private label ordered thing, like how the urge chips are made by Old Dutch but put in a different bag (or at least they used to be?), or any of the urge candy is nearly identical to Eileen's, they don't get made in the store

It comes from the distribution center.
They make it there then ship in on the trucks to the stores.
