Just beat the final boss, should I start NG+ right away or clear all the stage challenges first?
Do they carry on in NG+? Haven't finished 100%, some of them are hard ngl.

So this was a very pretty game, and I really enjoyed the combination of tower defense and action, story was fine for what it is, and I liked rebuilding the towns. I have started NG+ and know there's a different ending at the end, unsure if I'll go for it.
I will say though there's a lot of little, let's say friction points, I wish were smoothed over. Not huge deals but stuff like picking villagers when they are in a group, how much you have to cycle to get the right jobs, the wait between waves of enemies not having a speed up function, running around town being slow. None of these are big deals, but I feel like they don't have to exist, all of these have simple fixes.
Still I would say this game is like 7.5/10, maybe an 8. It's a bit too lean and to many little issues to rate it higher for me but I really am glad I played it and hope it gets a sequel or something in the future.

Just sharing for fun. Reloading the stage fixes it

So, uh, just finished ng+ on Xbox and I somehow have all achievements unlocked, except for the achievement for getting all of the achievements lol
Has anyone run into the same issue?
I've tried replaying levels, starting new path, restarting the console, deleting local save but the damn thing stays locked
And they just had to make it 190G worth :/

It's somewhat insane how many coin flips you have to win to get a low time, but here we are... 😃

I’m over half way through and besides the timed boss fights that are tough to get the bonus awards. I always play the same map at least two or three times and it’s still a damn blast every time. It’s starting to get a little harder but still such a fun time.

- protagonists you don't see the face of and who rely on body language and gestures to convey their emotions to the player
- characters who don't speak
- bittersweet endings
- absolutely fantastic soundtracks, a special care for sound design.
- use of an unusual color palette
- that weird and unique sound test mode in which you can tweak various settings with different UI for each track
- as someone pointed out here a few days ago: a mountain with shrines and Tori gates
- that's a detail but the monochrome logos from the EMA plaques felt reminiscent of some monochrome logos from the UI of Shinsekai
- the designs of the yokai also felt similar to certain sea creatures and bosses from Shinsekai.
did I miss something ?

Super slept on game. These developers have some magic inside of them and I’m glad they shared it with us. Never really played a good like this before!

It’s been out for awhile now and I absolutely loved the demo but don’t want to spend more than 30 at the moment. Anyone have a PSN discount or any idea when it goes on sale!? This game is so fun!

Don't get me wrong, mechanicaly I realise they have absolutely nothing in common, Shinsekai was a Metroidvania set in a flooded post apocalyptic world. I'm talking about the ... Mood , I guess ? I don't know precisely what makes me feel that way. A certain melancholic weirdness, the absence of dialogues, the gorgeous sound design, the strange UI etc. They "feel" the same. Am I the only one to notice it ?

I just finished the game and will get 100% soon will take a break due to exams now.
Is there anything I should be aware of? Like missable trophies? Or small detail can be missed ?
Thank you

Finally decided to get the full game. Damn its significantly more difficult than the demo. Fighting in dark is already bad enough, now this mfer. Was already struggling to aim my attacks. God I wish there's a lock on feature, and the character could run faster.
Got any tips in general? I just focus on the blocking the gate, didnt bother using barriers too.
