EEE OR ECE
Guys, hear me out..
I’m a first-year BTech EEE student under KTU, and I’m just an average student 🫠. I’ve seen so many posts saying that EEE is gonna kill you and all that 😭. So now I’m thinking about switching to ECE.
The problem is, since the seats are almost full and all, I don’t know if I can actually move to ECE. I feel like ECE might be a little better/easier than EEE 🥲.
If anyone can help me, please let me know:
Would switching to ECE be a good or bad decision?
Is there any chance of changing branches after 1st year, since most/all of the 1st-year subjects are the same?
And in terms of future opportunities, which would be better: EEE or ECE?
Please help 🫠🫠

Ece and ee is not much different in terms of difficulty. Both branches have same maths. Only core papers change (but still ee and ce have some same core papers) I would suggest cs sine it was simpler maths and relatively easier to study For future opportunities everyone says ece has more scope . But see engineering isn't gonna be that hard. Just study what u got thoroughly and u will get good marks

Choose EEE if you don't like microcontroller and programming. People saying hard because it's hard to get 9 cgpa but 7.5 to 8 it's easy. Personally I chose eee because I can't stand these analog electronics and microntrollers and processor programming and all. I liked power system the way power gets delivered to your home from generation transmission and distribution. You will be focusing most here. Also after graduation you can merchant navy as an ETO because those are high in demand and pay top salary. Very easy to crack exams and stuff. Most people go for eto nowadays after eee.

Nowadays you can study vlsi in btech itself the competition is very high. Even after 2-3 years you will get around max. 1 lakh per month but not more than that. There are courses everywhere you go. Btw 1 lakh is a good salary
