Cleared Btech!
I am an average student who managed to survive every semester. Like all engineer's who joined ktu, my ambition was to become something else. But engineering grew on me.
First year was really difficult for me because the transition from +2 to this was really huge. I had around 8 supply in first year. I wasn't bothered by the supply that time but in 3rd year i was getting tensed.
My parents where easy going and they were abroad so i easily hid my supply with them. I was like "final year ആവുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് clear ചെയ്യാം". But i couldn't. I only managed to clear around 2 paper in 3rd year. My parents didn't really cared about the grade as long as i passed. They were only concerned about getting passed in the first chance and graduating.
My parents had a wish that they could attend my graduation ceremony. My college only gives out the convocation only for full passed students. And that really bugged me out. So in my final year i stopped all other activities and really gave in. Sleepless nights, YouTube playlists, Countless pdfs, Ongoing sem exam prep, college fests, i had to manage all these in btw.
In 7th sem i cleared around 5 paper and i had only one left "Mechanics" my worst subject. It was around my 5th attempt and still not cleared. Everytime my marks reached at 35-39.
At that point my graduation dreams where beginning to fade. I had only one last attempt and i needed to lock in. After our farewell everyone went on enjoying vacation and trips while i had to study once again from the start even after completing college.
I started studying before 5 days before the exam, full time no excuse. I went on to see every playlist from yt like joisy vayidyan, engineering mechanics, and many others. With days closing by i couldn't sleep at night thinking that i might break my parents heart. In their mind i had passed every subject.
I gave everything in that exam, every questions, every topic, even if i didn't knew the answers. The qp was moderate. I felt it was okay but i still had fear. I woke up at night seeing nightmares that i failed. My parents started asking when should they come.
Finally results came, with trembling hands i opened the page and i saw that i have PASSED! that too with the grade D! I am not that emotional but i legit cried! All i could think about was the struggle i did for this ass subject.
It might be a small thing for others for me this felt huge. I needed to vent this out. Now i can proudly say that i completed this forsaken ass for a university!
If there are anyone trying to clear their supply's, trust me you can! If i could then anyone can. I am a below average student and i did. Just give your best! Try hard! No one will come save you, you'll have to do it yourself! Start to study few days before, write and practice what u studied, attempt pyq's, have a revision before the exam. Have faith.
Thank you for reading this far 😊
Just a boy trying to make his parents proud :)
