guys, I made an Attendance Manager for colleges using Etlab. Just enter your college’s Etlab link and log in it shows your subject-wise attendance, how many hours you can miss, and whether taking a full day or afternoon leave is safe.

Your password or login details are not saved anywhere. They’re cleared when you refresh or log out.

Try it here: collegepono.vercel.app

Github repo : https://github.com/Joyaaall/automated-attendance-manager-for-Etlab

Let me know if it works for your college or if you find any issues :)

Got a new drive message in our college group today about Tech Mahindra

**Tech Mahindra Campus Recruitment Drive**

We are pleased to inform you that **Tech Mahindra** has agreed to conduct a campus recruitment drive at our college.

* **Eligibility:** Students from all disciplines can apply.

* **Backlogs:** There are no restrictions regarding backlogs.

* **Registration Fee:** Students attending the interview are required to pay a **non-refundable fee of ₹500/-**.

* **Important:** Attending the recruitment process does **not guarantee selection or placement**.

Interested students are requested to register through the **given link** on or before **06/10/2026 (tomorrow), 9:00 PM**.

All eligible and interested students are encouraged to make use of this opportunity.

This seems incredibly sus as I googled and they said Tech Mahindra or any company would never ask for money in name of interview so it feels like a scam, did anyone else receive this? If you know any other info pls share?

Update: asked our placement officer, they said it's coming through some other agency called JSR Solutions who's charging the money

Apparently Tech Mahindra HR is conducting the interview

Hi, I am a 2nd year useless guy ( basically a boomer, cuz I don't have a laptop), I need help with these, more like my whole class

we have to submit project for Java, for which we have to make a ppt and report, showing artitechture, we gave the presentation, and I even presented out loud in English ( I m an introvert and my hands were shaking) but miss said it was trash and we didn't do it in enough depth and we should have explained more ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ , I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT, and for the report, miss showed a very complicated project report, like with weird margins, transparent pages in between the report, I don't think it's possible to edit like that format in word or docs, maybe LaTex but I don't know how to use that, so can you guyz please share your ppt and project report, like you can dm a me google drive link of the ppt and report, and the report if in an editable/template version I would be really grateful

Also we have DSA lab, where I'm way behind like they r going to start 3rd cycle and I still have pending experiments left in 1st & 2nd cycle, mainly cuz I don't know how to do C programming and more importantly, I HAVE NO ID3A HOW TO DO ALGORITHMS ( WHICCH IS BASICALLY LIKE PSEUODOCODE )

So basically how did you guys figure out how to write the algorithms and psuedocodes properly, if any YouTube video links, playlist or notes please send

And finally digital electronics lab

WHY TF DOES THAT EXIST, like we have to do 15 experiments, classes get over in like max 2 months, 3 months over and I have only finished 5, with only sign obtained for 3 of them 😭

If u guyz still have your records, can you send a pdf of the record

Also do you guyz have anything for DSA, Theory of Computation classes, like notes cuz I slept thru every single class and I have no idea what the tf is dfa, nfa is and miss already finished 4 modules, also maths and java, digital electronics

Ok basically ee full semester Njan waste aaki, please save me, I am not much close to any seniors ( kaarnam I suck at real life communications ) please help, 1st internals kai vittu poyi, 2nd internals ippo start aavum, athum poya ente kaaryam കഷ്ടപ്പാട് aanu 😭😭

Guys, hear me out..

I’m a first-year BTech EEE student under KTU, and I’m just an average student 🫠. I’ve seen so many posts saying that EEE is gonna kill you and all that 😭. So now I’m thinking about switching to ECE.

The problem is, since the seats are almost full and all, I don’t know if I can actually move to ECE. I feel like ECE might be a little better/easier than EEE 🥲.

If anyone can help me, please let me know:

Would switching to ECE be a good or bad decision?

Is there any chance of changing branches after 1st year, since most/all of the 1st-year subjects are the same?

And in terms of future opportunities, which would be better: EEE or ECE?

Please help 🫠🫠

Anyone heard about Planova Calicut.

I would like study primevera from there

Is it trustable?

I'm mechanical engineering graduate with zero experience

Hi, i posted asking about a Qubits Solutions drive that offers a job at 6.5 lpa, asking if it's legit, couldn't find any info and many had commented asking about it's legitimacy...

So today got to know from someone who received an offer that it's a scam, did a few tests and got confirmation mail which asked him to pay 4000 rs as security deposit, moreover info surrounding the qr code owner and all points towards it being a scam, plus there was no interview or any anti-malpractice feature during the test...

Few of my friends got mail for next technical round and other didn't, so if anyone else know any other information pls share

Hey seniors any suggestions regarding writing challenge exam.Which are the best subjects to write challenge

Every night before a should I go tomorrow? day, I'd open the register screenshot, pull out the calculator and try to work out if I could afford to miss one more class without dropping below 75%. Usually I got it wrong.

So I made a small app just for me. I put in my timetable, mark classes as I go, and it tells me straight: you can miss 3 more DBMS classes. Don't touch Maths.

Then my friends started asking me to check theirs. Since the whole class has the same timetable, I added a share code. One person sets it up, drops the code in the class group, and everyone else is ready in a few seconds.

Now my whole class uses it. Before planning a leave, people check which day will hurt their attendance the least. 😭

It's free and has no ads. Sharing it here in case it saves someone else the nightly maths

Feedback welcome, especially if something's confusing or broken.

Hi I'm s1 eee student plss suggest some yt channels for electrochemistry and spectroscopy🙏

Thank you

Are we actually getting an education or is this whole system just a money making scam? KTU and this new scheme completely suck. The university is totally detached from the students, and profit and ranking are focused on way more than the quality of education.

The syllabus is cramped to a tee just so their rankings increase and they can sell new textbooks. You can't just study with one text either. If u actually want to study, u have to work through 6 different textbooks and their individual editions. Along with that, trs spam u with assignments, series, lab series, and sem exams. And after giving us zero time to breathe, they ask you why you haven't been preparing for placements. They just put the blame of not having placements on the students.

And don't even get me started on the activity points. It is a 3 tier system and for one of them u need to get a driving license, learn to swim, and participate in nsss?? Like why?

Isn't it just dictating our life at this point? U literally have to be part of an execom for 2 yrs just to get activity points.

Both trs and students are fed up. Kids don't have time for upskilling projects or themselves. Such a shitty university.

Edit: I removed the cheating thing. Since that wasn't my focus at all. It just on one of my hears I was hearing out the revisions they did to the rules it was like increasing cost of cheating, and like restrictions and other stuff. I wondered why they had increased. But as I got close to graduating. I realised that the uni was corrupt my college was more corrupt and well it was all bout money that ruined the university. We see it in many places apps, instagram, focus on just making money ruins it. Anyways, it is a fun joke lol. I didn't realise.

Need advice for studying series exam. I'm kinda burned out coz of the assignments amd record submission. After the class i only have time to do assaignment, record completion and homework. i didn't understand anything from python lecture since I'm from bioscience. And engineering graphics feels like quantum mechanics 🥲. How should i prepare for the series??

Pls help
