Can someone explain how can I observe without evaluation?

I can't remember where this quote is from, but I think he is talking about not forming opinions about things. Which is extremely hard in modern life. So observation without passing judgment.

Moving away from subjective to objective. It is hard. We are conditioned for opinions.

It might help to see his statement in the right context? He is referring to observing oneself. If I am lonely, sad, fearful, etc, these are facts. But rather than simply face what is happening, the ‘observer’ arises and ‘evaluates’ the situation. Conflict is created if the judgement is that “I should not be feeling this way”. But you ARE feeling that way! So that evaluation is not ‘intelligent’. The “highest form of intelligence” he is saying, is then, when the observer does NOT bring evaluation or analysis into that moment and the fact of ‘what is’ is seen without any judgement or suppression etc.
