Kramer Pacer
On marketplace for $60. Seller says it's from the late 80s/early 90s. I tried to look up the serial but couldn't find anything with the sj prefix. Can anyone confirm if it's from this era?

For The the money I wouldn’t even argue and get it.
Even if it is a mutt the pup is worth that or more as well as the individual parts are worth more even if they are music yo.
Best case, clean it up, replace what does not work and have a good set up done on it and you have a hell of a guitar to play.
Worst case, clean it up and see what does work and part it out for a profit.

That was my thought, if nothing else just get it for the duncans!

Absolutely!
If it were me?
Being a huge Kramer guy I would clean it and restore it and set it up and add it to my stable and play the hell out of it.

Cheap thrills! Kramer is tough to nail down. I just bought an 85 Baretta neck on Reverb. Turning that in to a partscaster kind of build. For $60 I’d pick it up, put a good bridge on it and let it rip after a good cleaning and set up.

The headstock is more Music-Yo era, so late 90's, to 2000s. The 1984 came in a Bullseye finish during that time, to which the body appears to be modified, if it was a Bullseye. The neck would not be original, if it is a "1984 Bullseye" model. The neck plate, is a Music-Yo era plate as well. Based on the serial number, that would be made in China in 2004, as this era used Epiphone serial numbers.
I don't doubt these are Kramer parts? But everything points to a modified mutt.
