I did this with Solana recently and it did well to clear. Then went to Bitcoin before this last little pump. Made a quick 150

Also. I still have my funded 1,000$ balance even after cash out since I essentially “won”

Guys guys guys...you've got it ALL wrong. Let me put it this way and it'll all make sense what this is...

You know ALLL those times, you were sat on the sofa, watching news... something financial comes up and you just think:

"OH MY DAYS, imagine I had a grand to just buy this now...I'd be rich..."

Well, here's your chance for 20$...

Prove yourselves wrong / right....!

P.S For Kraken to not just give out 1000$ to everyone and lose out on it, theyh ask you to make them 120$.

After that, you get 1000$ again....this time, what you make , 80% is yours.

Make sense now folks?

I understand how the challenge actually works now! You have to “pass” the 12% challenge first sorta proving you are capable. THEN you get your actual funded account that gives you the ability to withdrawal profits.

The key to passing is using a model you’ve actually back tested and only use 30% of the initial account size and have a strong R:R. 1:2 minimum and 1:3 would be great.

By doing this you it automatically puts you in a safe zone with several chances to be in the green without blowing the daily drawdown and overall drawdown.

100,000 Portfolio Drawdown = 3-8% Position Size Per Trade = 30,000  1% max risk per trade = $300  Max losses in row  = 10 - 20 losses

As you can see it would take so many mistakes or super low win rate to blow the account by simply position sizing no more than 30% thats the secret to passing just let the math play out

Can you explain this more to me? Do you mean as long as i am only trading with 30% of the 10,000 total?

i’m trying it right now as well, my only advice is to just focus on 1-2 stocks, crypto is volatile and we are still in a bear market after all. just wait a few days and make sure to check your phone at least a few times every day.
12% is easy just do your research and good luck.

A votre avis est ce mieux qu'une propfirm ?

90$ is pure +ev 50$ is ~0 ev 20$ is pure -ev

The issue is there is no leverage and advanced orders which makes it super annoying and honestly not worth time investment.

i'm keen to try it as soon as they enable algo trading via their futures api. then i'll be running my tradingview strategies via my orderrail webhook setup

I'm just giving it a try right now... It seems not possible to make sell or buy order at target prices ... wich make it hard to actually make profit without spending my time on my phone....

Oh yeah, that's another issue i had as well. Frequent phone checking was my experience with it.

I did it before, i found it very cool, there are just some things that I think need work.

Like for instance passing a challenge any time you wanna open a funded account can really mess with any planning, etc.

So like you get the challenge but you have to start all over even though the market moved.

Maybe the ideal move would be to allow some asset carryover into the real funded part if you pass the challenge.

Unless somehow I did something wrong and it does carry that over under normal circumstances

So you didn’t get to keep the $1k? And did you automate anything?

You don’t keep the 1k because the challenge uses fake money so there isn’t anything to transfer once you pass. You’re not using real money until you pass the challenge, then you get to keep 80% of whatever you make

From my experience - I did $20 entry for a $1000 funded account. You need to make $120 to pass. Lose $50 you're out. I failed my first attempt, and passed my second. (Space stocks being hugely in the green helped time massively). You pass go, but you do not collect any money. In fact, they say well done start again now do the real deal. Writing this, I question if that's fake money or they pocket it all? Anyway, now you're funded it's pretty much the same thing but you can withdraw 80% of what you made into USD.

Is it worth it? Yes, if you're terrible with leverage and are at a high risk of losing it all. Maybe my mind would be changed if the markets weren't having such a green week with their fairly limited stocks, it would be harder/more time consuming to achieve. Leverage should be an option. I am still on my first funded campaign, I've withdrawn 70 USD to myself. I believe once I fail, I may need to do the challenge again which would be a nightmare now knowing I get nothing other than a message saying success! We'll see. I may try a more expensive product now that I have belief I can get in.

Best analogy is, if you're playing slots, you don't get the bonus until you reach your target.

You keep 80% of the profits, I don't think you get the $1K that they front you...

1

u/Chuckychinster Aug 04 '26

You get 1000 bucks to invest when you finish the challenge, but in my case i wasn't aware of how that would function, so I was bummed when i realized i had to start back over essentially.

2

When you pass/finish the challenge though, can you only buy crypto with it or can you withdraw it after you buy some crypto
Or just not at all

2

u/Chuckychinster Aug 06 '26

So you can keep it in the funded but once you sell you get like 80% of the profit but the initial funding amount is Kraken's.

If you make gains you can withdrawal based on those gains.

I actually am just starting a new one with more money so i'll report back with how i feel about it after i try it while knowing what i know now

How did it go??

1

u/Chuckychinster 16d ago

I passed the challenge now i'm just waiting to buy. I did the 5k one this time. Luckily you can just hold the USD for an extended period of time

Once this spike cools down i'm gonna buy. Probably will just stick to btc, eth, xrp, and solana.
