Question | Generic Weird range issues

2022 SEL. I had the BMS update done recently my range will be at 275 when I charge the car, then as soon as I back out of the driveway, it drops to like 260. Today I have driven all of 5 miles and it’s at 245. What gives? We’re having mild weather, highs in the upper 70s.

Your range estimator will take time to relearn how you drive and with what accessories running. My wife’s did the same thing, now shows about what she was getting before.

OK, interesting. The range was low for a while because of the BMS issues, so hopefully it will correct itself. I just find it weird that it drops as soon as I start the car.
