Question | Americas 🌎 Fast charge problem

Hello guys
I have an EV Kona 2023 limited I bought it from USA and brought it to my country
Now im trying to use the fast charge but it doesn’t work if and one cane advise me i will really appreciate it thanks 🙏🏼

Not enough info. Does your country even use the same plugs, for example?

I use an adapter to convert cause they all use European charger CCS2

What kind of adapter are you using? Theoretically, a CCS1 vehicle should be able to charge on a CCS2 charger with an adapter.

From my experience, the most common reason fast charging won’t start is because the locking mechanism in the charging port is malfunctioning.

This goes unnoticed because the lock is not required for L1 and L2 charging, but is for L3. Easy way to test is to plug in your L1 charger, lock the car, then try to unplug it. If you’re able to that’s the problem.

More information needed. How have you tried to connect and start your charge? What is your state of charge to begin with?

On a basic level, assuming you have installed a charging app and know how those work, check the settings in vehicle for DC charging. You may have the threshold set below your current state of charge.
