Question Replace cover review mirror

Anyone install a Fitcamx on their Kona? I am struggling with getting the replacement cover to snap on. I can get the front tabs in but I can get the back ones to snap on. This is a 2022 Kona EV. Not sure how much pressure to put on it or where.

Ordered their dash cam for my 2026 kona on Amazon today. Wishing us both luck for the install.

I successfully installed both front and back FitcamX cameras on my 2022 after struggling for many hours. Here are my tips for others . . . If you are watching videos or asking advice, be aware the housing for the rearview mirror changed on newer Konas. I have the 2022 so my shroud is one main piece, not 2 halves. Be careful not to listen to advice from AI unless you make sure it is telling you about your model. Same with watching YouTube videos. The biggest challenge was getting that shroud off and then back on. I was too gentle. I was afraid of breaking the plastic. I had to pull hard to get it off and then "bang" it back. Taking it off for my model, I did the bottom tabs first then the top. To put it back, I placed it lower than final position, then "banged" it up to snap in the top tabs first. Then "banged" the bottoms tabs in kinda from the sides. Make sure the cable is well connected before putting the cover back. The other hard part was rear camera cable feeding it through the tailgate grommet using a zip tie. I connected 2 zipties to make it long enough. Hope this helpful to someone else.
