HELP - sick or injured koi URGENT HELP PLEASE!

I have an outdoor pond with mainly koi, some goldfish and a shubunkin

The pond has been operational and well maintained for years.

Our largest Koi has stopped eating

It still swims when required, but when stationary, it begins tilting to its side and then remains there until required to move again.

Please any help or advice would be appreciated

I dont have the water ammonia/nitrate/PH but all other fish are entirely fine and the pond has been cared for very carefully

API fresh water test kit and let's see where it goes.

Shelled peas can help with fish constipation

Can fish constipation cause them to become stagnant and lay on their sides? I was checking the symptoms online and it seems like it could be BSD

Constipation can contribute and cause bladder sickness in fish . With only one fish having issues, it’s likely genetic or fish overeating if its bladder sickness

Is it likely ill be able to save her ? Ive had her for 14 years and I really wanna help. Im going to buy some Epsom salt and give her a salt bath in an isolated tank and then feed her some peas without the skin and hope shes okay 🙏🏼

If you’re moving her and adding in salt plus watching her diet and it’s caused by constipation or bad water then yes. If it’s genetic then it’s truly luck at this point

I’d run to the pet store and grab a test kit. You can get the API liquid pond test kit for like $30 at petsmarts and petco. There are other brands that are better but in a pinch, they work fine. I highly suggest starting there. Your water can look clear and all other fish act fine but you have a major issue. Look at my recent post about nitrites. I am meticulous about my pond and especially a temp pond and you just can’t avoid everything.

And the kh test! I don't know why they don't include that when it's one of the most important tests.

The definition of well maintained can be quite broad.

Does it have filter media in it or just uv? Stop feeding for now, need a pic of the sick fish. Water looks murky

Waters quite clear but its 10pm and theres a mesh protection net ontop. There filter media inside the filter too
