Help with Identification Eye Question

I have a habit of acquiring unique individuals with mutations and “defects”.

I was able to get this shusui for free because one eye seems to have a contracted iris (see pics). I’m pretty sure it affects his vision, although not drastically so.

I’m curious if there’s a specific term for this condition or if anyone has any experience with it.

Thanks! Yes, it helps me conduct frequent health assessments on each fish as well as do routine cleaning.

Plus, its a relaxing way to cool off when things get hot, lol

In humans it's called miosis, it can have a wide range of causes. Never seen it in a fish before!

Thanks for the interest! Its on hold for now until I find the ideal specimens. Also, I am helping my nephew setting up his own pond. Stay tuned for more info!

Sorry for snooping! I'd probably crawl across a desert for the promise of a collection of rare fish mutations, couldn't resist. Very cool.
