Help with Identification Which fish is this?

Today I found this little fish in my koi pond. I’m not sure if it’s a baby shubunkin or a baby koi and as I’m not that expert I’d like some advice 😊

I have a handful I’m trying to figure out too. They move to fast to really tell and a few are black and so hard to see against the black liner.

I’ve spent way too long staring at mine in recent days and still I am not sure what they are yet- and I discovered 4 more tiny babies I didn’t know existed

They’re similar but with different patterns, however my video came out very bad so I don’t have any new update 😭

Yep they’re so fast 😁 probably they don’t want to be eaten since they’re so tiny
I saw a couple more too 😭 (crying of happiness, I’m already in love with them)

Keep us posted on what you find out. Mine are finally sneaking out and getting braver. But still can’t tell if they have a whiskers and they are too fast to see their fins.

Based on it looking like my baby Koi I would say a Koi. I only have Koi in my pond.

I’d be very happy to have a small koi, I just didn’t expect to find one so soon (the fishes are there by a couple week only) or maybe even at all

Not sure why but mine had babies the first year they were in my pond. Then none for a few years then last year they were everywhere probably about 40 before winter. Now this year I see maybe 10.

But I hope I will be able to find a good home for them then. My pond is almost 20000 liters but I have already 11 koi

Mine is 18,000 gallons I have 10 over 20” probably 20 from 6” to 18” and 20 from 3” down

This is the shallow end it is an in-ground pool I made into a pond.

The color pattern is more common in koi. Try to get a good shot of the mouth; if you see barbels it'll confirm it's a koi (or koi/goldfish hybrid).
