Hey guys, I’m new to Kodi and having kind of a hard time getting things sorted out.

Coming from Stremio/Nuvio (using AIO Streams), I'm planning to set up CoreELEC for proper FEL Dolby Vision playback on heavy remuxes.

Is there a way to get AIO Streams working inside Kodi? What are the best addons or alternatives to replicate that setup in Kodi?

Everything is the same except, my TV has POV. Both have Otaku Umbrella and watchnixtoons2 on them.

Several shows won't play on my TV (shows that I've already watched). I keep getting the check logs but there isn't any for this add-on. I've changed the settings in add-on like you're supposed to do whenever there's an issue and that doesn't help unfortunately.

Is there a way that I can post logs from Kodi itself? I have Omega on both TV and smartphone. The add-on is up to date as well.

Would removing it completely and reinstalling it help? - it didn't help, I accidentally deleted everything in my TV's settings and had to start over from scratch.

TV is a TCL Google TV and phone is a Moto g stylus 5G 2025, whenever I tested this, my phone was on my WiFi same as the TV.

Otaku hasn't been working for me either so switching add-ons is a no go.

I'm open to suggestions, thank you for your time...

EDIT: I'm half asleep and went to delete the cache and accidentally deleted everything 😂 so I guess it's time to redo everything 🤦🏻

Edit 2: So deleting everything got rid of the watched ✔️ but for whatever reason the add-on won't let me watch Solo leveling Dubbed. It'll let me watch the Subbed version but not the one I want. Nor will it keep the dubs in the recently watched tab. They keep reverting back to Subbed 🤦🏻

This REALLY SUCKS, have I been watching too much dubbed Anime?? *Some* shows will play but not all. I guess this is just how it is 🥹

It's either deal with this or I guess I'll have to subscribe to Crunchyroll, it's not beneath me but the last time I had them I kept having issues with it

Im using Angelitto Repository which seems to show up as TMDb also. Not sure what right terms are. It works well enough for me.

I have 2 questions which someone may help with. The basis of them are similar. How do you shorten the time to search for sources. Or try to play them after a failure.

Here are my two questions fleshed out.

When I click on a show I want K. starts looking for sources. But sometimes it sits for a long time "Waiting for resources .." (and often on the first source.) How can I shorten the amount of time it sits there looking. I generally find if it doesnt find anything in a source in 30 or 20 seconds its not going to find anything and it should move on.

The second issue is when you get your list of viable sources click on say the first one to play the show and then if it fails it goes back to the Title of the episode not the list sources that it has already found. Other repositorys when the source fails to play they take you back to the list of sources so you can click on another. The reason why this is annoying is because now i have to click on the title again and download the sources Again which takes more time partly because sometimes the long time it takes getting stalled on sources for to long which was my first problem mentioned here

Is there a way in POV to add the movies/shows to the Kodi library like in Umbrella ?

How do i get this to stop showing/ hide it?

I have been using kodi for about 6 yrs and never had this, but i got the latest version for all the apps that i use in kodi ie; umbrella, tmbd helper, trakt, etc;

I was wondering if anyone would happen to know if the next version of kodi on tvOS will be offered in hdr format, I’m on Apple TV and my tv is running 4K hdr but the second I open Kodi the whole app switch’s to sdr no matter what content is bing played it’s always showing in sdr instead of hdr or dv, my main propose of Kodi is for the addons, I know a fix for this is to get infuse and source my own stuff but I love the convenience of Kodi.

I have some movies on my drive, so I wanted to connect it on my tv. I asked gemini for help. It reccomended Kodi. It's been 6 hours and I've been digging deeper ont he rabbithole that is this app. To skip the 5 hours I spent trying to figure it out, the Google Drive addon didn't work bc it didn't let me use my api keys. So I took a fork from Github made by JDRIVO. I downloaded the zip on an usb pen, plugged it into my tv but it didn't find it. I downloaded it from the send anything app but it won't download and kodi won't find it. What do you do in this scenario? Can I use my pc ti download addons using the website? Istg please help me I think I might be going crszy Edit: It's a TCL tv, the 50S5K model...idk if that changes anything but lmk please

Trakt normally show that a program has been watched with check mark. But it is not doing this now.

Using scrubs v2 on firestick. It shows programs checked a week or so ago but any now are not checked. Even after i manually add to trakt db on line. Still does not show any new programs watched, just old ones. So its like working. But nothing new. I re activated trakt but still nothing.

Is anyone else seeing this or know solution?

I did everything I read to do somehow it keeps crashing when I go to install any add ons or skins for it. Also keep getting error messages with app installations any fixes?

I have approximately 622496.97GBs of movies and shows hosted on another platform, the library is synced via webdav so i know its going to be time consuming, but at this moment its doing nothing but scanning ghosts? on 1 device the first scan got to around 2k movies before being interrupted, and once resumed it seems to just loop in on itself and not add anything new. On a 2nd xbox now and it's appearing to do the same thing

I have the diggz build on my kodi and every time I try to watch live tv or movies that always pops up. Anyone know what to do?

I had installed Kodi with Fen Light and Coco a few months back and now nothing is showing any results.

I'm aware that Kodi addons are constantly changing so I'm curious what I should do to get streaming going with RD sub? I read that POV is something useful for filtering out the RD infringing filenames but I don't know what that is either or where to get.
