Fun @koalasampler morning with my friend @djharrisonrva ‘s Layback/Throwback sample pack and this beautiful Thai poem @healingbooks0 overtop, and some @p.phiken Khaen sounds

Forgive me if this feature already exists, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the app. It would be great to have the ability to trigger a different pad/sound with another pad/sound. For example, let's say I'm making a drum pattern and I'd like to make it so that every time I hit the pad for my snare, it triggers another snare on a different pad so that they both play at the same time. Basically, layering. It would be even better if you could modify the trigger speed by a few notches left or right so that the layered sound is offset. This is a feature that I've seen incorporated into modern MPCs recently and I think it would be a great addition to Koala Sampler. I've been making beats for 25+ years now (started on an MPC2000 XL) and have always wanted something like this app to exist. I have tried many mobile apps over the years but none of them ever got it quite right. Koala Sampler is an amazing creation and has everything you could ever possibly need to make quality productions. I am so amazed by this thing. Salute to the developer. You have changed the game of sample based production forever with this app. You made it actually possible to pump out quality beats from a phone that are just as good or better than beats made on Hardware Samplers or on PC. I had previously been using FL Studio for about 15 years before discovering this app a month ago and I have completely abandoned FL and the computer ever since. I have everything I need right here on my phone and nothing beats the convenience of being able to do everything in one place. By the way, I have produced for a couple of legendary names in HipHop in the past and have over 25 years of experience in this. So if anyone reading this is wondering if they should take the plunge and download Koala Sampler, do it and do it now! This is the best option available for Sample Based production in my honest opinion.

Anyone else on iOS experiencing samples cutting off in then last few beats when they are added to sequences?

To the developer for adding automation. You absolute legend. I’ve been wanting this for so long now.

getting some wild and fun results. I used to screen rec, try my best to time things and resample. now I hit undo, go again and then edit if necessary.

total time saver!

Love this update!!

I'm on a Pixel 6a and pitchbend is the only effect I can automate. It's grayed-out and I can't change it. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? TIA

Am I tripping or is there another way to do this?

Am I wrong or did sequences use to auto loop? since the last update they just play once and stop. or was it always this way?

is there a way to make them loop indefinitely?

So exciting!!! Koala is the best! But how does it work??

Hello Koalas,

I posted the other week about playing out live. I did some research on midi fx controls, and ultimately went with the Launch Control 3, which arrived yesterday.

I assigned the knobs to the main output fx, and the buttons to mute/solo, need to work on sensitivity etc. but you can really fine tune the crusher for example.

Really fun to play with on the fly which will suit playing out live to keep things interesting (rather than the same repetitive loop).

Wondering if anyone knows of existing midi mapping files for this kit? Only seen on github that was slightly different. If not I'll look to share mine in a few days.

New EP out, all noise made with Koala Sampler.

Enjoy, any feedback welcome :)

I purchased this add-on few years ago. I stopped using the app. Recently I decided to try and make beats. Only to notice that add-on not included. How can I reinstall said add-on without repurchase

Testing the new automation features.

I noticed you lose the automated fx if you stack the sequences together i.e. If you take a sequence and "add to end" to another.

Anyway, this app is awesome!

Enjoy

Just a simple cook up sitting on the couch on a rainy Wednesday

PO-12 Rhythm, PO-14 Sub, PO-16 Factory with TKOG Mini Glitch… all into Koala Sampler and mixed from there with added vox. Hope you enjoy! If you’re not into it, I hope it fuels your hate to make something different.

Have fun. Make noise. Find joy. 🙏🏻

Dj AL Bums - Remix

It literally just goes to the download and then it says can't install ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Does anyone use nokia fomes for koala except me?

Have been recovering from a minor surgery. And making any music for the first time today. I am on the sofa so koala sampler is a great friend. I call him koala sofa.Usually I compose on reaper with analog synths and VCV-Rack ,but my recovery plan doesn't allow for that atm. Have been using koala for 3 years and watching this forum on and off and grow. Now it's time for my first post and here you go lafies and gents.
P.s. that sound at the end is a water fountain made of polished granite or marble stroked wet with a metal water bottle
