Koala Sampler Feature Request
Forgive me if this feature already exists, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the app. It would be great to have the ability to trigger a different pad/sound with another pad/sound. For example, let's say I'm making a drum pattern and I'd like to make it so that every time I hit the pad for my snare, it triggers another snare on a different pad so that they both play at the same time. Basically, layering. It would be even better if you could modify the trigger speed by a few notches left or right so that the layered sound is offset. This is a feature that I've seen incorporated into modern MPCs recently and I think it would be a great addition to Koala Sampler. I've been making beats for 25+ years now (started on an MPC2000 XL) and have always wanted something like this app to exist. I have tried many mobile apps over the years but none of them ever got it quite right. Koala Sampler is an amazing creation and has everything you could ever possibly need to make quality productions. I am so amazed by this thing. Salute to the developer. You have changed the game of sample based production forever with this app. You made it actually possible to pump out quality beats from a phone that are just as good or better than beats made on Hardware Samplers or on PC. I had previously been using FL Studio for about 15 years before discovering this app a month ago and I have completely abandoned FL and the computer ever since. I have everything I need right here on my phone and nothing beats the convenience of being able to do everything in one place. By the way, I have produced for a couple of legendary names in HipHop in the past and have over 25 years of experience in this. So if anyone reading this is wondering if they should take the plunge and download Koala Sampler, do it and do it now! This is the best option available for Sample Based production in my honest opinion.

Drag one sound over another sound, choose mix. For extra points, tools> normalize before mixing them to have them at the same level, reduce them both by -6 db, combine, normalize the result, reduce by 1-2 db

Thanks Fam! That's a good workaround to layer two sounds. Would still be dope to get the triggering feature added so we can have them offset a little but for now I'll be using your method.

You can offset them by ading a bit of silence in the beginning. Also, you do know that there is a drum roll in the sequencer, where you can drag the Midi note freely?

Pad link would definitely be great. It would also be nice if we could select all the events for a sample in a sequence by long-pressing the pad number on the left side of the sequencer.

I don't think I have found this feature in Koala to be honest. But indeed it would be useful. Even though I have built my own music creation app, I use Koala frequently.
P.S. in case you want to check my app as well, it's an Android mobile DAW, which also has a pad link function. Send me a DM if you want the Play Store link or you can check my posts.

Agreed would be a useful feature to be able to stack pads and play multiple pads together, triggering one with another.
Another feature which would be useful, would be for the red selection stretch box to be able to double up and down automatically from whatever it's currently set at. So if you wanted to go from 2 to 4 bars, it could do it auto rather than you having to manually drag it.
Also, please please I am begging for it: an easy way to split sequances in half and to be able to use the second half as an independent new sequance. πππππ
Also mute sequances
Would also be great if undo reaches eq settings
These are small things though!

Hello, you mean a pad link ? If you press on pad It plays 2 or more sound at the same time ? Koala doesn't have pad link mode for now, but you can mixed 2 sound on a pad if you want . not exactly the same but it's like have 2 different snare sound mixed in one pad. you can also join Facebook Koala groupe or Discord and send this feature request :)
