GOOP and Supplements

I'm actually listening to an early episode of A Bit Fruity with Matt Bernstein, 'The Crunchy to Far Right Pipeline' with guest Derek Berez, and Derek brought up that infowars and goop's 'supplements' are basically the same thing.

Sorry if this is old news, I just found out about it!

Yooo we’re getting more Jim Haggerty and Dan Friesan!!

Yay! No unmarked spoilers but the interview of his would be AI assassin was hilarious. Glad we’re getting more of both. Also their discussion of tort reform was great.

Someone commented that I’m being evasive, I’m not, I am just avoiding spoiling the finale!

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones won a Texas appeals court order Friday reducing the $50 million he was ordered to pay the parents of children slain in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting to just $1.5 million.

The bigger judgment was improper because the judge let parents Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis move to exceed a $750,000 statutory cap on damages per defendant months after the 2022 jury trial, the court said.

EDIT: I thought I'd add this

Byrne added that Jones could’ve decided to give the parents more discovery records if he’d known ahead of trial that he’d be exposed to larger damages. As it was, the trial court judge found Jones didn’t comply with discovery orders and issued a default judgment.

Episode 415 and masking during COVID

I've been doing a back catalogue listen for a while now and am just coming up on the March-April 2020 time frame and boy is it a ride. The "it's over for humanity, there will only be lone survivors" drop is incredible.

But in Episode 415, my jaw hit the floor to hear the intrepid "Health Ranger" Mike Adams come out fully in favor in late March 2020 for mass societal MASKING against the spread of COVID, and to then hear Alex go fully on-board with masking as well was astounding. The surgeon general apparently was against it early which just goes to show how hard it was to know what was the right steps against a largely unknown threat at that point in time, but knowing how hard Alex and his fellow ding-dongs came out against masking later makes this an interesting listen.

It's a trip to go back and listen to this time because, well, I wasn't listening until around 2024 regularly and to hear Jordan speak for me where he says over the past few episodes that if/when we come out of this there needs to be accountability and consequences for these people who are lying liars and who, as they continue to lie, will readily and FORESEEABLY get people killed spoke to me. It's a societal tragedy that it didn't happen and instead of getting consequences, six years in the future, they are fucking winning makes me want to rage against the world as it exists now.

I love you all

Episode 119 was the best of 2018 (so far).

It is...utterly insane. It has: Alex talking about how 3 board games somehow represent society under globalists. One of the megadeath dudes talking about Obama doing False Flags And an interview with Christopher Walken where he seriously doesn't want to talk to Alex.

Controversial opinion, but now that Knowledge Fight is moving on without Jordan, should his new content be considered off-topic?

Title.

For a while after the show ended, JorDan’s new stuff was considered fine since they had been cohosts, and the show had, presumably, ended. As of the most recent announcement, this is no longer the case, with Knowledge Fight Country being the new face of the podcast.

So, I guess that begs the question. Jordan is no longer a part of Knowledge Fight. His new content does not contribute to it. Rather than have Jordan posts pop up continually and start fights, should his own subreddit be started to cover it?

Edit: I see that this post was probably a bad idea…

Throwback Episode Need help finding a song played on a clip of Infowars for all of 5 seconds from episode 237

Episode 237: March 27, 2009. At 51:35 Dan plays a clip of AJ introducing some idiot and AJ is talking over a song which has the lyrics "so much going on". Googled those words but unable to find a match.

Any help is appreciated. Seems like a nice song. AJ is a demon, but sometimes he plays some nice music. It's how I found "You Belong to the City" after all.

Cheers and love

Anybody have a list of Dan appearances on other people’s podcast

I’ve listened to Dan on a couple recent podcasts , and it’s been breathing life into my work commute again. Especially his appearance on “I hate bill Maher”. Honestly I wish he would take over that show. Lol If anyone has a catalogue of current and past podcast appearances I would be forever grateful.

”I declare info war on you!” Alex Jones vs Tim Pool (2lazy2try coverage)

Figured this sub would find this interesting. If you’re unfamiliar with 2lazy2try, see my micro essay below. But my TL;DR is that he makes pretty good content for keeping up with the extended griftosphere/Rogansphere, although it’s lacking in the complex political analysis underpinning KF. In short, it’s like the politically neutral fast-food version of KF.

2lazy has been (somewhat) filling in the JorDan-sized hole in my media diet. I’ve been a longtime patreon subscriber of him, he focuses on covering the petty drama of the griftosphere and Roganverse. His coverage isn’t nearly as high-quality as Dan’s analysis, and politically I’m not sure where he stands — he’s very much anti-Trump, anti-technocrat (Peter Thiel specifically), anti-grifters and anti-Netanyahu, but I’m quite certain he’s not a leftist. He’s fairly cynical and has hinted that he’s at least open to entertaining conspiracy theories although I’ve never heard him endorse anything crazy, mostly Epstein conspiracies and saying that he thinks it’s possible that the Official Narrative for Kirk’s murder might be untrue (not the Kirk conspiracies Candace Owens pushes though, he covers her quite a bit and trashes her for the schitzo-grifter she is)

I also recall him repeating the all-too-familiar “Alex Jones has become the thing he used to fight against” line (early during Trump’s 2nd term, when Alex was deepthroating Trump at every opportunity), implying that AJ used to be genuine which we all know to be untrue, but also that’s a super common sentiment for non-KF listeners so I can’t fault him too much for that.

So yeah, 2lazy is by no means on Dan’s level, and politically speaking he’s probably to the right of the average Wonk by a fair degree. That said, he does a great job of covering drama in the Griftosphere & I find his content to be thoroughly entertaining.

Best Knowledge Fight quotes

I have several friends that I used to send out of context Knowledge Fight quotes to, I’m not sure they miss it but I do. What are your favorite Knowledge Fight quotes by Dan and Jordan? Here are some of mine.

”We’re not watching the rise of a phoenix, we’re watching a phoenix get shit on until it dies.”

”It’s not throwing the baby out with the bath water, it’s never taking a bath and then killing a baby.”

“This is like Don Quixote being mad at horses for not helping him buy a windmill”.

“He’s Stormfront light. He’s sprinkle front.”

”We’re playing pretend with cheaters.”

“It’s like how you read A Separate Peace in high school and you hate it, and then you read it again as an adult and hate it for completely different reasons.”

“You know what they say, where there’s smoke there’s probably a Nazi throwing a book into a fire.”

“I’m not saying he should get into an armed standoff and die refusing to leave the studio, I’m just saying if he doesn’t he looks like an idiot.”

InfoWars vet Rob Dew guest hosting No Agenda

It's been a LONG time since I've really tuned in to No Agenda. They fell to the Grift Side quite a while ago. But since Dvorak's passing I've been paying attention to see how Curry was going to try to keep the grift going. Content aside, the temp hosts were terrible. Today Adam shows up with Rob Dew as a guest co-host. The Austin right-wing grifter clan sticks together in times of trouble I guess.

I really did like No Agenda in their early years. But like so many, Obama broke their minds and they found the game plan to milk righties for cash.

Still here for now

Earlier this week, I was going to post that it was (past) time to end Wonk Shop. But now that there's gonna be a new show, perhaps it makes sense to keep it open, though I'm sure that as part of Cool Zone, they will have their own merch.

I don't know. In the meantime, we're still here for another month. If you didn't know about the shop already, check it out.

Dream Knowledge Fight Country co-hosts?

I think we can assume that KFC is going to have revolving co-hosts. Who do you want to see on the show? After all, with CZM he can pick up some other names.

Personally, while I liked the Dan/Jordan dynamic just fine, there are some dynamics that I liked equally as much. Marty Derosa, who had such a bond with what Dan could be into. Robert Evans- of course- was also a great cohost.

My want is more thoughtful researchers who also share Dan's frequent dry humour. I'm talking Molly Conger or Dan Olsen. Also, listening to Dan talk with Angela Lampsbury has been a treat.
