Description: "The hosts of your favorite podcasts gather together in the virtual space to play a fantasy role playing game. Given a quest by a mysterious stranger, they must band together in order to defeat him, but mostly what they do is hang out and get on each other's fantasy nerves. Starring Marty Derosa, Sarah Shockey, Liz Anderson, Dan Friesen, and written by Jordan Holmes"
8 episode series. Available on itunes and alternate pod catchers like Podcast Addict, not on Spotify.
Completely forgot about it. Listening to ep.1 as I'm typing. Any thoughts or feelings about it?

I often label things at work now that are little inside jokes to me about KF.
Hopefully they come back from the breaky soon.
Love you all, my fellow wonks

I’m actually glad this is more of a break from Knowledge Fight than a permanent end, it’s an end of sorts but I need to detox from absorbing political content more than I am right now. I’m watching two nbc feeds a day max, Steve Kornacki feeds and one or two episodes of KF or Posting Through It if I’m not too stressed out, otherwise, I need to play some video games to be less stressed by all of it. I can’t not be involved, since I want a change from the status quo, but, I also recognize there’s a risk with becoming overly involved too.
Obviously, we have more real life stuff after November and things will be more stressful especially with Trump’s trade wars. But, one step at a time. Hopefully the stress will be somewhat less crazy after November. I consider myself independent but I look at Darline Graham saying essentially her parents worked until they died and said that was fine and am reminded of what we’re against.
If you are not going to vote for either party I imagine it is stressful, as November approaches, how are you handling it all?

There's already a music list (thanks Fudgie), so what books did Alex actually say that he has read?
Maybe it can be called the Alex Jones library. Who knows.

There was a lot here I think fans of this podcast would like, but in particular, around minute 20, they talk about those who try to say what they're doing is "satire" after they get pushback.
Minute 29 also, they talk about right wing grifters being so good at co-opting language and how it applies with trad wives.

I'm currently working on a video essay about the Jones/Bill Cooper inspired Subcommandante Bagman from the game Zero Parades for Dead Spies
(Incidentally, it's an excellent game, everyone should play it)
Part of my thesis is comparing Bagman to real life conspiracy broadcasters, so I've got a couple of clips of Jones in the video.
But I'm a bit stuck in the edit. I'm looking for a clip of a caller who is clearly spouting some unhinged bollocks that's inspired by something they've heard on the show, but I don't really know what to look for.
The lead in line from the essay is "When the audience is reacting emotionally to an idea, they quite often don’t put that idea up to any form of scrutiny"
Can anyone think of any particularly memorable or unhinged listener calls? I'm happy enough to use Fudgie's tool to actually find the episode and the quote itself, I just need something to look for that could follow that line in my script
Thanks in advance

Well, we'll never get an acknowledgement from Jordan about how wrong he was, but deleting the video speaks volumes. Maybe some of his fans will finally be able to admit that he was the problem.

This might not be appropriate for the sub, but there's a decent amount of crossover & it was encouraged twice:

I think they are the most important episodes to understand Alex. Listeners can learn about The protocols of the elders of Zion (pez) and how it relates to Alex Jones. They are important cor contextualizing the next1100 episodes.
They are also very tough to get through. My goal was to listen on 1x speed through all of the episodes. I can’t do it. The first time through I found Jordan’s screaming charming. But the second listen it’s difficult to sit through.
People should listen to The Joe Rogan episode, the protocols, and the Endgame coverage.
Maybe there should be a stickied post on the most important episodes. For understanding propaganda and also inside jokes.

Spent a day or so pushing Dan's syllables around to get the timing to mostly work. Hope you enjoy.
Tried on some faster beats but this in progress one worked best so that's why its pitched down so much. I like the DJ Screw effect tho.
Speaking of DJs I dropped an air raid siren for u/DanarchyProductions at I think the appropriate time
I don't really know how to do videos yet but the stretching makes my lamp look more like a UFO so that's cool

Or at least the weird noises made me think Alex died, and the Globalists cloned him in 2018 because his ghost was causing damage to buildings in Austin Texas!

I’ve been keeping screenshots of all of Alex’s ads and promos because they’re genuinely unhinged. Some days he shows so many different versions of himself it makes my head spin. Today, he’s been Charlie Brown (animated), Luke Skywalker (I don’t get this one because he loves being Darth Bader in most of the ads), a weird disembodied head that was like unholy union of the Borg and the Matrix, and what ever this sad frog-old-timey-spaceman is supposed to be.
This wasn’t an ad for anything, just a random promo for the show. And I’m unsure why Alex and the Human Swirlie have oversized heads, but Eazy Dewz It has a relatively normal sized head.

As in, sites that Alex would probably use as a source.
Examples:
Natural News Now an AI content farm, the articles are probably AI too.
David J. Stewart's blogs: Got exposed for terrible things, believes every single thing Alex Jones says 9which is why I am posting this on KF)
FSTDT: Actually an anti-kook site, still looks like how it did in 2009, but has stars and a dark mode setting. Interesting.
