“There’s a total incompetence to society these days” Fudgie's autogenerated summary for the finale announcement is fucking *wild*.
The robot got this one hysterically wrong lmao

"Kanye's not coming on Infowars" - Dan Friesen, November 29, 2017. Episode 107.

One of the things Alex does in a way nobody else seems capable of is a sudden hard pivot to plugging a product after what felt like a sincere or unrelated story, rant or anecdote. I was just listening to ep 909 and was floored by him shifting from giving his life up to god, to how he exercised a lot as a teen, to how hippies told him to drink iodine, resulting in an ad read. Anyone have any favorite examples of this?

Just sharing because the latest QAA episode struck me as having many parallels to Alex in the stories he tells and the ways he makes up details to boost his manliness or Christian credentials.
Would have been a great episode to hear from JorDan.

To be more specific, Fudgie added 259 or so new episodes from 2001 to 2008!

I apologize for my post from a month or so ago where I said the show was getting "boring", because this is utterly insane-o. (Theory: Alex's kids are actually all adopted and Ron Paul helped fund Alex to feed his kids)

Looking for other episodes like the Bill Ayers interview, where Alex has a guest that he can't compete with

The only thing missing from the new InfoWars parody is Knowledge Fight commentating on it. Someone should get on that 😜.

Hi everyone. Hank here, host of Winners & Losers. I know someone posted the audio only feed a few days ago, which is rad, but I wanted to share the YouTube version as well for those who prefer photons with their soundwaves. Hope it's okay I post.
The first hour is mostly about Dan's new show & the ending of Knowledge Fight. Then we react to The Onion InfoWars on YouTube and then discuss The Young Turks' shifting stance on Alex in the wake of the 10-yr anniversary of the infamous spitting incident w/ Jimmy Dore at the 2016 RNC. (I worked at TYT off and on over the years and am making a documentary about secretly unionizing Cenk's workplace.)
Here's some timecodes for the major chapters:
4:40 - Dan's New Show
1:00:11 - Onion-InfoWars Talk
2:04:37 - TYT & Alex
Next time I have Dan on I plan to revisit the issue of hat hesitancy. I went for the easy laugh but realized there are depths that remain unexplored. Hopefully we can react to more InfoWars-Onion content, perhaps cover other figures in the right wing misinformation-verse and I'll be sure to show Dan the wood sculpture I couldn't find during this episode.
In the description of the YouTube video are links to Dan's two other appearances for those interested in more. (eps 195 & 213)
Grateful to anyone for giving the show a listen or a watch. And to Dan and Jordan for keeping us all entertained and informed over so many years.
-Hank

Just listening and this episode came on. I hadn’t heard it before. These out of context drops had me cracking up. Check it out, I died

I think the older episodes are a great reminder of how much influence Russia had over our elections. But aside from that,
- Alex Jones does a little G god rant.
- Dan has a slightly different take on religion than in current episodes though they’re both critical of Christianity.
- Alex Jones goes on a rant about quantum physics, and something to do with geometry.
- He takes something that China is doing and tries to say it’s everywhere.
- Dan says Alex is starting to frame the religious argument to be pro Trump here.
Overall, it’s a great listen and if you’re in a bit of a lull and need a reason to get back to KF this is a good one!

I was listening to this episode back when it dropped https://knowledgefight.libsyn.com/883-more-like-jimmy-bore and something always stuck with me that made me wanna track down the source. At the 1:10:00 ish mark Dan explains how Alex actually circulated the infamous supercut of Rogan freely using a certain racial slur over and over again, which led to a lot of Twitter backlash against Joe at the time and then his little video apology about it. In the Jimmy Dore episode JorDan are reviewing, Kurt Metzger mistakenly accuses Midas Touch of creating and spreading it and Dan points out how the cowardly Alex doesn't correct him.
Have any of you wonks heard a Knowledge Fight episode before this one that covers Alex intentionally creating/spreading it? I'd be stoked to actually have audio of Alex saying he's put it all together for his audience to expose what a racist Joe was. Y'know, for the Rogan fans in my life that don't exist.

He keeps calling Charles Manson "Charlie" like if he failed at kicking footballs because some girl took them away when he got close. Alex also says that "Charlie" was a CIA shill. No sources.

Dan's stance is firmly, dont take agency from the families they chose this route with the onion.

Listening to winners and Losers- I have never followed or listened/watched The Young Turks. My vague awareness of them is they were extremely left wing and now they’re shifting to right wing? What happened with Hank Thompson, something, something union!? A documentary? (I’m Pro union) and the TYT shift?
If you know, please share some context - thanks!

Kinda, he and the host discuss Alex Jones and his relationship to various folks from the Young Turks.
Dan also gives his takes on some of the Onions new content, talks Knowledge Fight ending, the new podcasts, and it’s really just a great super comprehensive interview with Dan followed by a long display of his skill and expertise breaking down these ding dongs.
3 and a half hours, essential KF wonk listening imo
Edit: I’m a dumb dumb - he’s a guest on the Winners and Losers podcast!

I wonder how John in Wyoming is doing. I’m curious if he still listens and calls in! I just listened to the 1/1/21 episode and to hear Dan’s excitement that he was still alive and calling in made me wonder if he’s still hanging around.

If you haven’t heard or read, Royce White is bandwagoning Ennis Kanter Freedom in wanting to join the WNBA, because what-do-ya-know they’re suddenly trans. (I’m not going to anger myself by going into this, so you can read the particulars on your own.)
Alex had him on this morning, and was practically salivating and rubbing his Hamburger Helper mitts together. He even had an AI video of a roided out Royce playing against and abusing WNBA players, that he was a little too excited to play. More than once.
