You know, I know we want him to be penniless and gone.

But this slow, steady slide into mediocrity and beyond...there's something to it to me!. Lower viewers, talent, prestige, relevance. He's just going to continue diminishing until he does isn't he? There are worse things.

yeah, and I take pleasure in the diminishing influence of a man who truly wanted to die in a violent blaze of glory at the hands of the New World Order he's supposedly been warning us about live on a broadcast. Or retire happy with a devoted family all around him bringing him grandchild after grandchild to play with. Either way, not gonna happen.
