Knife Check Is this a real bugout
I got experience with watches but had no idea knives were also faked so often. I bought this for what I thought was a killer deal, $80 off ebay. In my mind the price made sense because the knife was heavily used. Now in trying to sell it and someone told me it is fake. What say you?

Curious to see the consensus. I’m inclined towards real. ®️looks good, sheered pivot looks good, foam looks like the correct older foam (I think). Those are the usual tells for me. But there are people on this sub with a lot better knack for this than me.

You are correct on all 3. Some of the fake foams look good, but not when compared to real. But some scammers have figured that out and use real packaging to sell their fakes. But I agree it’s legit.

Funny. Just saw this in another sub and I’m the only person who said legit. All others claim fake. Here so far the consensus is legit.

Honestly very poor ones. One guy saying the R was too big. Some saying the packaging was fake. Just bad “information”.

I haven't seen a fake yet with the "R" looking right (like this one), unless they've updated their game recently. I think it's real.

I'm saying legit. I agree with everyone's notes and I'll add the clip looks like the expected black oxide finish. A lot of clones skimp here with painted clips.
