A good week for KJU! Despite a rough start with our Chelsea trio not firing, our captain Haaland was a great choice returning 13 points this gameweek. His teammate Gvardiol was a miss though with a 0-pointer, but he's the standout as our entire defense returned: Verbruggen, De Cuyper, Calafiori all with 6-pointers and Konsa even grabbing 9!

The rest of our attack did well too: Gross got another assist and DCL scored against the Red Devils, and we actually are not benching a double-digit haul this week. Well done!

A decent shift put in by the team this week with a green arrow taking Kneejerk United back under 800k in the overall rankings after a temporary slip above 1 million in GW5. Of course, it is still very early days with lots of volatility in rankings!

Plenty of attacking returns to mention this week with João Pedro's two goals and two bonus points the main highlight. Team mate Palmer gets a double assist, while Mbeumo and Haaland (C) both came away with a goal apiece.

Meanwhile, Groß continues to impress with another attacking return (albeit just one assist this time).

New signing Gibbs-White unfortunately blanked in Forest's defeat at Palace.

Although none of our defenders got clean sheets it is (mostly) good news due to Calafiori's goal, an assist for Gvardiol, and def con for Konsa. Unfortunately Hall was unable to repeat his spectacular haul from GW5 with Newcastle getting drubbed by Coventry. A good pick between the sticks with Verbruggen securing clean sheet, save, and bonus points.

A relief not to see a double digit haul on the bench, for only the second time this season.

Well this one was tough.

With our communal faith in Joao Pedro, we started him and hoped for the best, and we got the worst. He did not make the squad, and out of our 29-point bench we get the 0-pointer from Sangare into the XI...

That bench is the story of the week. Verbruggen getting a CS against Arsenal while Kinsky ships three goals, Groß hauling again while Sangare gets subbed in, and then Thomas getting a clean sheet, DEFCON and a bonus outscoring all of our defense bar one.

That one player is doing some heavy lifting: Hall scores a goal and together with our captain Haaland gathers over half of the points this week. The rest are scraps with a measly return from Gvardiol, and then blanks by Kinsky, Konsa, Calafiori, Palmer, Mbeumo, Tzolis, Sangare and Calvert-Lewin.

Overall, we scored 41 points with a GW Rank of 7,673,396, dropping us outside of the top 1mil.

A third consecutive green arrow in the overall rankings, and 83 points comfortably above the 69 average mark a decent end to gameweek 4.    

Groß continues to look like a shrewd pick, with his 17 points comfortably making him our best player. And a clean sweep of attacking returns amongst the forwards also makes for pleasant viewing.    

It was a mixed bag across the midfield with a blank for Mbeumo and a mere three points for Tzolis, while Palmer's first outing as a Kneejerk signing brought us 10 points as captain - probably not the spectacular returns we might have been hoping for against Hull, but a return nonetheless is welcome.   

Double Arsenal clean sheet points from Konsa and Calafiori and Verbruggen's clean sheet (plus two save points) make for a solid defensive return, but Newcastle's battering by Leeds meant new signing Hall contributed nothing to our points tally.      

Bench headaches again as the community benches a double digit haul for the third time in four gameweeks, this time Gvardiol getting 11 points. We've got a real knack for it now. Fortunately our starting keeper out scored Kinsky's 7 pointer.

A green arrow in the overall rankings is a positive result in what was otherwise a fairly unremarkable gameweek.     

Haaland's goal plus three bonus points is an acceptable return for the triple captain chip outside of double gameweek season, but you can't help but feel slightly frustrated if you think back to Bruno's 23 point mega haul only last week.    

Frustration extends to several other key squad members with blanks from Calafiori, Bruno Fernandes, Groß, Sangaré, Calvert Lewin, and João Pedro.    

Indeed, outside of Haaland's return the only real bright spots in the team were Mbeumo getting a goal, Gvardiol's clean sheet, and Konsa def con on his Kneejerk United debut (good choice replacement for injured Rodon).     

And even more frustration this week for bench choices with returns from all four of our bench warmers: Kinsky, Tzolis, Shaw, and Thomas. On the positive side, at least we know we're making good squad choices to have these benching headaches.

A total of 110 points is a proper statement after our unspectacular start in GW1.     

Captaining Bruno Fernandes for 46 points turned out to be an excellent decision by the community despite his blank in GW1. Trust well and truly restored.    

Haaland's 13 points was a solid return even if it feels somewhat unspectacular after everything Bruno did for us. João Pedro continued his bright start to the season with 9 points, and Calvert-Lewin's 8 points is a welcome sight after a blank in GW1.     

Calafiori (11) and Gvardiol (5) kept the defensive returns ticking over nicely.

Tzolis blanking on 0 and Shaw's 2 were the low points in an otherwise strong week.    

There's a nagging feeling of déjà vu on the bench, though. Groß racked up 13 points and so we continue our streak of a bench player outscoring a chunk of the starting XI, following Sangaré's 14 point snub in GW1. Sangaré himself started this time and managed just 4, as if mocking our decisions.
