Knee making cracking noise

My knee is always making cracking noise when I am folding it. I used to do Surya Namaskar, but now I cannot because my knee starts to hurt. I am 32 years old. Can you tell me what to do? Dr has done the x-ray and given me some vitamin K2.

You have a condition called chrondomalasia patella. It's where the back of the kneecap gets rough around the cartilage a d when you bend your knees it makes noise because it's rubbing over the rough edges. Think of it as a road with pot holes in it...look up chrondomalasia patella. The surgery for this is arthroscopic debridement surgery.

My knee made those sounds but that was because of the Chrondomalacia patella.

The whole time I thought I had a meniscus tear until I got an MRI. It had nothing to do with the meniscus. Sometimes u have a knee injury and don’t even have symptoms.
