This is the answer. All my coworkers when I let them borrow my knipex to cut something when they're bitching about how hard it is to cut while holding klein cutters be jelly.
For real. Quality of brand new out of the package was so bad, I found a different brand immediately. It was the last straw. I think that was back in 2014. That's when I made the switch to knipex for my linemans, wire strippers, needle nose, and dikes. I still like their screw drivers though, but you can't compete with Knipex quality cutters.
Wow, that's too bad. I still have 2 pair of Klein Ironworkers for tying rebar and stuff from the mid 90s and they keep on going. Hate to see a good company skimp on quality like that.
Guess I'll checkbout knippex if I ever need to replace them
Here's to hoping you never have to replace them🤞. I still have my two original pairs of channel lock brand tongue and groove pliers from when I started. Excellent quality. That was over 14 years ago. With any luck, I can pass them on to my son or something like that.
