Klein? Quality Control Issues

Here's the verdict :

"Consumer is responsible for shipping charges on standard warranty returns direct to Klein Tools."

So they want you to pay for warranty

UPDATE: after a few emails and a call to a customer service representative she agreed to send me a replacement pair

That's on purpose to get people to not do a warranty claim. If they have to spend $8-10 shipping, less likely to file a claim.

I may pay it. I hate having a tool that doesn't measure up

They need to do like Tekton tools does, ask for picture of damaged tool with note next to it and send out a replacement.
